enter data into domoticz fails
Please help. Upgraded to PI OS bookworm and to a PI4 after this my python script does not work anymore. I worked before perfect. I use: temp = "10.0" command = 'curl -s \"http://192.168.2.100:8080/json.htm?type=command¶m=udevice&idx=13&nvalue=0&svalue=TEMP\"' command = command.replace("TEMP ...

Re: Toggle switch with Python
Problem solved by using a JSON string to turn on and off the switch.

Toggle switch with Python
How can I toggle a switch in Domoticz by using a Python script and maybe sending a JSON string?
A switch also has an IDX number.
Maybe there is a JSON string available to talk to the switch just like we do with things like thermometers etc.

Touchscreen or mouse to gpio
I have switch on my dashboard.
It’s easy to switch it on or off by using a Python JSON script.
Or use the touchscreen or mouse.
But how can I go from the touchscreen to a GPIO pin?
Python is no problem but I don’t know where to start.

Re: JSON command for create virtual sensor - custom sensor?
Question, can I create any type of sensor?
I need a kind of custom sensor with 3 inputs
I need to see the output of 3 separate thermometers in 1 graph on the dashboard of Domoticz.
Is this possible?

Strange 0, in the Device data field. (temp/hum/baro)
Something strange. I made a virtual sensor for Temp+Hum+Baro All looks normal. In Devices I see the sensor and the data field contains the items 0.0C,50%,1010hPa But after I ran my python/json script this field changed into : 0, 9.0;70.0;1030.03 The values 9.0 70.0 and 1030.03 are ok but what is the ...

Re: Virtual sensor with 2 inputs
Waltervl: I know all this. Thanks anyway. My question is not understood I think. All I ask is how to construct a virtual meter with 2 inputs of different types. For 1 Y axes there are plenty examples. What I need is a 2 Y axes graph. 1 axes for temperature and 1 for position of a window. ( 4 ...

Re: Virtual sensor with 2 inputs
Who can tell me where I can find the construction of for example the virtual meter for Humidity and Temperature? Maybe this gives me enough information on how to build something similar suitable for my purpose.

Virtual sensor with 2 inputs
I try to make a virtual sensor which can monitor 2 inputs. The custom sensor asks for just one axis label. I need 2 axis labels. Just like Temp and Humidity for example. I want to see the position of the roofwindows of my greenhouse. Four levels 0, 1, 2 and 3. And the inside temperature of the ...

3 Phase meter
I'm preparing a Domoticz setup for someone else. It turns out they have a 3 phase meter Landis & Gyr E350. I have a 1 phase meter so I can't test the 3 phase environment at my place. Domoticsz runs on a PI-3B+ and using the P1 over USB and an inverter and an FTDI into the USB0 port. This setup runs ...

Re: P1 only one meter available.
I think the problem has been solved. My expectations were different.
I was expecting more meters like a meter for the current usage and a meter for the total of the tarif 1 and tarif 2 values, current and voltage etc...
Sorry for the confusing.

Re: Dual tarif
I think you don’t understand what I mean. There are no separate meters available voor the high and low tarief. IDX1 receives 6 parameters. The first 2 are Hi and Low. So where can I see the meter for the Hi with on the upper row the daily use and where for the Lo. Or maybe I make a mistake. I know i ...

And you can see I transmit 3 parameters to this IDX.

Re: P1 only one meter available.
Why do you say I use 2 identical sensors? If I choose the GAS sensor it is automaticaly part of the P1 meter.
