Re: Philips Hue Bridge + Osram Lightify + Domoticz?
I have a similar but odd situation as well. I have a pair of IKEA TRÅDFRI colour changing bulbs and even one of their LED drivers. I have managed to add all of these to my Hue hub successfully and they have all shown up in Domoticz and are controllable. Recently I have purchased three of the IKEA TRÅ ...

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
There may well be a limit but I suspect it's a high one, I have dozens of devices controlled via Controlicz, admittedly I use the Amazon Alexa platform but I assume the Google one would be basically the same. There are basically two things you need to do Firstly, Controlicz will only see devices ...

Re: Aurora theme
In the Aurora theme has anyone else had an issue where the colour scheme for most the tabs is just fine (with the default settings) where the text is in white or a shade of grey which looks very readable against the dark blue background, but for some reason on my Utility tab the icons show in the ...

Re: Python Plugin : Broadlink RM2 V4
Well, here's an interesting problem. After quite a bit of messing about, I have managed to get this plugin working (sort of) with a fresh-installed copy of Stretch, python 3.5 and the latest beta version of domoticz. Switching devices on and off works perfectly every time. The reason I say 'sort of ...

Re: Aurora theme
Thank you for this, I had actually managed to find the relevant line in the CSS file and changed it myself but at least now I can simply do a 'git pull' to pick up any future changes simply.
Quite understand about the merged items text - makes complete sense.

Re: Aurora theme
One request, if it is at all possible or reasonably easy to implement. Currently all of the device names on each tab are rendered in upper case, irrespective of how I have named them - would it be possible for the displayed names to honour the way they have been entered? ie If I call a device 'TV ...

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
I fully agree with the above sentiment, just relying on ad-hoc donations was never going to be sustainable in the long-term, even if Nick was prepared to put in his own time and effort to code, support and improve the product, what about the hosting hosts etc? What can start out as an interesting ...

Re: Read British Gas Hive Heating temperature
And sometimes it's the simplest little things that's the issue! Added the extra print line in and ran it, got the following {"errors":[{"code":"USERNAME_PASSWORD_ERROR","title":"Username or password not specified or invalid","links":[]}]} Traceback (most recent call last): File "collect_json.py ...

Re: Read British Gas Hive Heating temperature
Thanks for your help Iain I've installed the requests module and downloaded the new collect_json.py script. I have also deleted the Hive plugin hardware from domoticz and re-added it, this naturally deleted my virtual thermostat and thermometer sensors. When I re-add the Hive plugin, I still get the ...

Re: Read British Gas Hive Heating temperature
I had been caught out by this once before so I did double check and yes the IP subnet is in the local networks settings not requiring authentication. However even if this was wrong, I could see how it would prevent Domoticz from interacting with Hive but I cannot even get the separate collect_json ...

Re: Read British Gas Hive Heating temperature
I'm guessing that this is just something odd about my system then as nobody else seems to be reporting issues. If I run python3 collect_json.py I get the syntax error above If I put parentheses around the print statement (or if i just run python collect_json.py) I get a different error File "collect ...

Re: Aurora theme
I'm running the latest beta which is slightly ahead of the release version and the Aurora theme works just fine. Which is not to say that it definitely works with 4.97 but I'd be astonished if it doesn't.

Re: Read British Gas Hive Heating temperature
Not the latest stable but the latest beta which (if the version numbers are accurate) is slightly ahead of the 4.9700 release. What I did do though was a complete rebuild of my RPi 3 with Stretch after a recent update completely hosed my earlier Jessie-based installation. I used to get a seg fault ...

Re: Read British Gas Hive Heating temperature
@roadsnail I have three Hive bulbs, just the dimmable white ones same as you and there is just one which seems particularly susceptible to going offline for no obvious reason. Having said that, it appears to have behaved itself for the past week or so, so possibly it was just 'one of those things ...

Re: Read British Gas Hive Heating temperature
I've been having a lot of issues with this plugin over the last week or so, including the error message you mention. For me it seems to work for a while and then I'll notice that my scheduled lights on/off timers haven't worked. On checking the logs, I'll see things like 2018-03-17 11:20:09.477 ...

Re: Strange behaviour of Viking 02035, 02038, TS3320
The're not a little, squat white thing looking a bit like a flattened egg are they? I have two of them, not much in the way of a identification other than Model : XT200 on the back. I got them both some years ago, cheap from some no-name supplier on eBay, cost about £3 each. In Domoticz they show up ...

Re: homebridge-edomoticz Plugin
The clue to the problem is this line in the error message Error: listen EADDRINUSE :::51826 What it's saying is that there is already a process running on the device which is using the TCP port (51826), which homebridge wants to use. Now the most likely reason for this is that you already have ...
