Set up Domoticz as a secondary controller
I am trying to set up Domoticz as a secondary controller to a Vera Edge but I'm running into some odd problems. The system I have is: Vera Edge (This is a ZWave Gateway for a home automation system called Total Control. It has a special firmware as there is a seperate network based controller that ...

Re: New LightWave RF LW101A Scene Selector
If you order the normal Mood Switch from Securicare's Amazon store you will get the new Scene Selector. This is the message I had from them: Thank you for your enquiry. If you order the JSJS LW101 from us in either the White or Stainless Steel you will indeed receive the newer version LW101A. (The ...

Not sure if the old mood controllers are being discontinued. I've asked LightWave who did respond in the end

New LightWave RF LW101A Scene Selector
Has anybody managed to find these on sale:
http://www.lightwaverf.com/product/scene-selector/
Much prefer the look of these to the original mood switch but cannot find them for sale anywhere. I've emailed LightWave but haven't had a reply.
Thanks

Add SET request to HTTPLink Data Push
I am trying to link Domoticz to another home automation system which accepts SET & GET requests over HTTP.
GET has already been implemented but SET would very much help me complete my system.
Many thanks.

Re: Seperate Switch & Dimmer setup - Best Practice?
I gave up using the Nodon dimmers in the end. I now use Aeon Labs micro dimmers triggered by Lightwave Mood switches.

Re: Seperate Switch & Dimmer setup - Best Practice?
After some testing I have settled on adding the dimmer modules and the Nodon switches to Domoticz. If I associate the dimmers to the switches in the group table they work quite happily without Domoticz running at all. This way I can still manage all the devices in Domoticz but the lights are not ...

Re: Problem with LightWave PIR
It was a range problem. The PIR is quite close to the RFXCOM unit but it's a new extension packed with foil backed insulation.

Re: Problem with LightWave PIR
When I learn the switch it gives me the option to choose what the device is. Should I choose switch rather than motion sensor?
Thanks for your help

Problem with LightWave PIR
I have a domoticz system with a RFXTRX433e transmitter receiver. I have purchased a Lightwave PIR which I can add to the system using "Learn Light Switch" but it then doesn't react at all. Should it be set up in Domoticz as a motion sensor or a basic switch and what should the setting switches on ...

As far as I know it's exactly the same, just makes certain layouts easier to read.
I use a combination of both.

Right click on the block and select "External Inputs". This will change the block shape to the one in red circles.

Re: Kodi Mediaserver Support
Just read back through the thread and noticed that Justintime is also using OpenElec and having similar problems. Could there be something different in the implementation between OpenElec & standard Kodi?? I know OpenElec uses port 9090 for JSON commands/requests as my Total Control system ...

Re: Kodi Mediaserver Support
I have just rebuilt my server after a crash and am having problems with the latest Kodi Mediaserver (the old version worked fine). Kodi is the latest version of OpenElec. If I set the port number to 9090 I get the following error: 2015-09-29 12:14:29.464 Kodi: (Kodi Living Room) Connected. 2015-09 ...
