Hi,
In the past, Oregon made excellent temperature/humidity sensors which were on AA batteries. They lasted several years.
Then, they replaced it a few years ago by a newer model working on AAA. Now the sensor runs out of juice after approximately one year. With 14 of these everywhere in the home ...

Re: Use garage door opener to set switch?
I had the same need. I purchased an extension to my Hormann garage door opener which provides input/output dry contacts for getting the door state and triggering open/close. And I added the Fibaro Smart implant inside. This means I have an input to check the door state, and two inputs for opening ...

NodOn double wall switch CWS-3-1
Hi,
I have purchased this switch from NodOn for controlling various stuff at home, and successfully included it to my network.
In Domoticz, I have 4 switch devices (one dimmer and three on/off).

Multiple triggers with Qubino mini dimmer
Hi,
I have installed a Qubino mini dimmer, and everytime I switch it from Domoticz, this results in three event triggers instead of one. For instance, if I switch it on, I get three device events (for instance in dzvents)
- First one with state "On" immediately when I turn the switch on

Re: Z-wave Notification sensor ( in red )
I had the same after upgrading to the latest stable domoticz. This corresponded to a Fibaro Door Sensor, and it wasn't working anymore. So I switched back to the previous version... Latest "stable" is extremely crappy regarding zwave.

Hi,

Lost device : Fibaro Door sensor
Hi,
Since yesterday, my Fibaro Door Sensor is not updating anymore in Domoticz.
In the ZWave node list, it's marked as "sleeping" (moon icon). I see it has not been seen since 36h, while the Wake-Up interval is 12h, and I've opened an closed the windowseveral times. However, when moving the ...

Re: Garage door opening on power restore...
Considering all the reported issues/bugs, this one should IMO be renamed "dumb implant".
Well, I have a qubino dry relay that drives open/close and S2 input reports status. This one have config restored on power outage.
The garage opener has 24V power source inside the extension box, so the ...

Re: Garage door opening on power restore...
Why would you even want to open a door to your home with domoticz?
It’s my garage, not my home. You can’t access the home from it. And I want to open it to guests when they arrive.
And no, I would not let a zwave dumb implant open my home. My two home items not connected to domoticz are the ...

Recommended temperature or temp/hum sensors?
Hi,
I have a bunch of Oregon Temperature and Temperature/Humidity sensors at home, models THN132 and TGHN132. These models were very good, as they work on a single AA battery (cheap, lasts several years at any temperature with a lithium one). Plus the THN132 works down to -30°C, which enables uses ...

Issues with Oregon temperature sensors
Hi,
One of my temperature/humidity sensors, an Oregon TGHN 132, suddenly stopped being updated in Domoticz, while the battery was recent, and the LED was still flashing every minute. I tried to move it close to the receiver, without success. Resetting it fixed the issue, but this created a new ...

Re: Garage door opening on power restore...
There is no such option controlling action on Power Up.
I contacted Fibaro, they acknowledged that relays shortly close at power-up. Which means, that the use in a Garage Door, although recommended in the manual, is totally unsecure.

Re: Best choice for cooler
Hi,
I'm awakening this thread as I got no answer... I can't believe there are no recommended AC/coolers that can be easily integrated into Domoticz!
At least, I need to switch AC on/off. And best, would be controlling temperature, fan, etc...
Thanks for advices!

Hi,
I have added a Fibaro Smart Implant to my garage door controller. It works very well for opening, closing, and retrieving the door state, using two outputs and one input.

Make independent switches appear as a roller shutter
Hi,
I have three independent devices (Z-Wave) for my garage door : one push switch for opening, one push switch for closing, and one door sensor for state feedback.
Is there any way I can have a nice blinds/rollershutter device grouping the three instead?
Thanks!

Hi,
Thanks for the replies. I will contact the OZW github team for more advice.
When you say:

I just changed my script so that it only toggles one switch at a time, with 10 seconds interval.
It seems to be maybe better, but I still have errors:
