Re: Dashticz - Module - Spotify (new version!)
I like this plugin, but it makes Dashticz running on my wall tablet too slow/unresponsive. On my PC it runs fine. It's a Nexus 10 running Fully Kiosk Browser. I can see the slowdowns happening by looking at the seconds counter in the clock, it hangs like every 5 secvonds and then continues again. I ...

Re: Dashticz - Module - Spotify
Two tips maybe; - On a tablet the selector for the playlist and for the devices are really close together and pretty small. If one of them was on top and one at the bottom this would make it easier to use it. Users can change this of course as it is probably something personal. - Do you think ...

Re: Dashticz - Module - Spotify (new version!)
Do you have Chromecast Audio or Google home devices? I think there's a difference between 'cast targets' like the Chromecast audio, and normal devices like smartphones, PC's and tablets. My Spotify android app always shows all Chromecast Audio targets, but only devices like my PC when it has ...

Re: Dashticz - Module - Spotify
Both are fixed indeed :)! The only thing missing for me is that not all spotify connect devices show if if they have not been active recently. This might not be easy to fix perhaps. For instance, the Windows Spotify client also does not support this. The android app however always shows all connect ...

Re: Dashticz - Module - Spotify
Good start Rob, thanks :) Test results: Playlist selection works once, not multiple times. Need a page refresh to be able to switch playlists more than once. Controlling playback on the device Spotify is currently playing on works fine. Switching output device however does not seem to work at all ...

Re: Dashticz - Bug report
Not sure if this is a Dashticz bug, but I hope someone can help with this. I use the buienradar image with a buienalarm url, to show a graph of the coming rain. Lately however this is not working anymore. When the url is opened independently of dashticz (not within a frame) it works. For instance ...

Re: notifications to chromecast
Can someone tell me if this is possible to achieve on Synology? If so, how? :?: Would like to know as well If you can run python, give it a try. Start with trying stream2chromecast. I tried stream2chromecast and was able to stream an mp3 file to my chromecast audio through a Putty command. Can't ...

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Hi Madgeni, Have you seen this news yet? https://techcrunch.com/2018/02/26/google-makes-actions-for-its-assistant-available-to-more-developers/ Support for more languages is coming up. I am very interested in Dutch language support. I expect support for the language in assistant will be live in the ...

Re: Using a variable as a setpoint?
@ Danny, Sleep mode is just a simple dummy switch I use to switch off my devices for the night, and also to lower the thermostat setpoint. What I want to be able to do in this case, is to set a variable setpoint, so I can choose the setpoint setting for the coming night in advance. This is part of ...

Re: Using a variable as a setpoint?
Thanks for your suggestion Danny, your script works for when I want the change in the variable to directly change the setpoint.
However, I want to be able to choose the setpoint for the coming night, when my domoticz goes into 'sleep mode'.
Is this also possible?

Using a variable as a setpoint?
Hi all, I would like to use a Domoticz uservariable as a setpoint for my thermostat. I can't seem to find the correct syntax for this in the wiki. Right now my thermostat always changes to the same hardcoded value: domoticz.devices('Thermostat').updateSetPoint(17) But I would like it to change to ...

Re: Dashticz - Feature Requests
I would like to be able to see the status of my Chromecast devices, if the playback on them has been initiated on another device. For instance: I often start music playback with my Google Home of from my smartphone. This makes Spotify play on my chromecast audio group called 'Entire house'. I would ...

Re: Controlicz - Domoticz to Google Home/Assistant integration
Loving the beta so far! Sent you some coins to help with the costs. :D A question! My xiaomi temperature sensors don't seem to be found by the app. Anything I can do to help with this? Is it possible in the future to support mediaplayers (like Kodi)? And did you make any progress with Google on ...
