Re: new zwave plus thermostat valves
I did the same as Micha_pr. Merged the Spiritz code into a local copy of openzwave. It works quite well. You can also run them normally with just the beta domoticz if you add in the XML for the device and update the manufacturer file, but you can't set the temp of course (Except from the valve ...

Re: Change Z-wave controller
I did mine this way too. RazBerry on node 1. And a new Aeotec Get 5 stick. It took a while, but eventually I managed to transfer the primary to the Aeotec. However I had to use the Z-Way software to do it. I never managed it with OpenZWave and Domoticz. The Z-Way software (Especially the newer ...

Unclear ZWave Log Entries
I'm a bit OCD when it comes to wanting information on whether something is working correctly. So the logs are important to me. And clear logs even more important. The entries in the domoticz log (Running 3.8648) such as 2017-10-27 06:34:32.760 (RaZBerry) Usage (Gazebo Lights Power) 2017-10-27 06:34 ...

Fibaro 213 - Not a MULTILEVEL device!
Much knashing of teeth... I have a Fibaro 223 (Double switch 2) which seems to work fine... Today I installed a Single switch 2 (FIbaro 213) and at first it looked fine... The usual crap experience trying to pair the damn thing. But eventually it took (I think it's overly sensitive to the timing ...

How to include Devolo TRV?
Does anyone know how to get this sucker to include? The manual is pants. The danfoss manual is SLIGHTLY better. At least I know what LI, M and Pb now mean... But although the Danfoss manual at least mentions inclusion/exclusion, nowhere does either manual say how to get the damn thing into include ...

Qubino ZMNHBD1 2 relay - Not responding for itself
I have a flush 2 relay (Node003) that was communicating via a relay (Node004 Aeotec smartswitch 2) to the controller (Node001 - Razberry). Communications were fine with the Qubino being 1 hop away for the controller. The Controller is running on a Raspberry Pi 2B with Domoticz 3.6081 and OpenZWave ...

Re: All devices suddenly report: OpenZWave: Received Node Dead notification from HomeID
:ugeek: Small nit... That's not the firmware... That's the kernel version you're looking at. The firmware is something like root@piman-202:/home/hamish# /opt/vc/bin/vcgencmd version Mar 15 2016 14:47:28 Copyright (c) 2012 Broadcom version 1bf9a9a77026af9128a339c82d72e331d3532ee4 (clean) (release ...

Re: Energy meters has stopped working
I have same problem. Been mentioning it here & on GitHub issues for domoticz for a few months now. I went as far as hacking the code to try & find what domoticz is doing. And still a bit mystified I'm afraid. I suspect (theory only, no proof or evidence yet) that some of the issue is due to the way ...

Re: Added Wenzhou TKB TZ68 On/Off Switch Socket
I was sure I had added a comment to the earlier openzwave ticket about this , but I can see no trace of it (though that would have been before their move to github). So I was about to add a new issue, but I see someone beat me to it ! On closer inspection, I was surprised to see that both existing ...

Re: Zwave network toooooo complicated ?
Yeah... I think there's an issue somewhere. Because I have two controllers and 6 nodes. The two controllers are on separate raspberry pi-2's. The first controller (RaBerry) see this... Re: z-wave bridge for a raspberry pi 3
I have both a RaZBerry (RPi-2) and an Aeotec G5 stick (RPi-3). Both work fine, the biggest issue is lack of distance between the controller and the devices. If you have more devices closer to each other to mesh properly you should be better off than I was at first.

Re: Qubine ZMNHBD1 not working well
Try to associate groups 2-8 with node 1.1 (yes 1 point 1), that's use multiInstace association of this device. I know S3 firmware had issue with power reports. You can ask for update if you have this kind of issue. Bye. Specifically groups 4 and 7 of the root device are the important ones for power ...

Qubino ZMNHBD1 2 relays - kWh Meter == 0
OK. So the device apparently SENDS messages reporting kWh usage... But so far they're always 0. I get the power reports for W OK, but the kWh remains stubbornly 0 for all channels. The OZW logs show 0 always, and the OZW control panel shows 0... Is there something I need to do to get it to actually ...

Re: All devices suddenly report: OpenZWave: Received Node Dead notification from HomeID
TBH, I'm about to throw my toys out of the pram with zWave... I have a setup with two controllers. A RaZBerry and an Aeotec Gen5. On separate RPi-2's. The RaZBerry is the master domoticz, but the secondary controller. The Aeotec is a slave domoticz, but is the primary controller for the zWave ...

Re: Raspberry Pi3 - RaZberry Feature request
Just be warned, that for me the beta has serious issues with data quality. It adds fake random data (& at times random devices), and ignores legitimate device data. I fell back to the release version which although still has moments of dropout (Pretty consistently for 2 hours per day on one of my ...

Re: Raspberry Pi3 - RaZberry Feature request
Does it need it? From what I can see current beta Domoticz looks for and displays all USB serial device nodes. So for example on my Pi2-B's it shows /dev/ttyACM0 (USB connected Aeotec G5) and /dev/ttyAMA0 (RaZBerry Pi).
