Re: planning battery charging/discharging with hourly electricity prices
Nice! I was planning on something like this in Python as well, but you are a few steps further. A few things I was thinking of, aside from simulating one or more virtual batteries: creating an email every day after 15.00 with optimal time to run the dishwasher (cheapest 3 hours during the night ...

Re: Chart with future energyprices
Search for entsoe on the forum and find a working script for pulling in the future prices in Europe Yes, I wrote that script to load the prices (onto historic variables) and use them for energy cost calculation, but I also found there is not a good device in domoticz to load the prices onto and ...

Chart with future energyprices
I am a happy user of Dashticz and want to display in a chart the energyprices for the coming 24 hours. This makes it easier to decide to what time the timer of the dishwasher and other systems should be set to. I am working on a Python script and have the prices already in a list. The question is ...

Re: LUA – Virtual Solar Battery: simulate the presence of a battery for storing harvested solar energy
https://www.vermail.nl/tmp/Knipsel.JPG My log shows an error, while the calculation seems te be done just fine. Any ideas? The code I use: --version 0.1 02-04-2021: dzVents version of solar battery script --version 0.1.1 03-04-2021: fix left behind variable and avoidance of power level > max ...

Small LUA script for switching off an infrared panel in our bathroom after 45 minutes
As some people in our household tend to forget putting off the panel after usage :?, which is switched on/off by a switch that's also controlled by Domoticz , I am using this script as a backup-measure: -- script_time_infraredpanel.lua t1 = os.time() s = otherdevices_lastupdate['Badkamer ...

Fixed it. It was a typo: I had named "Daikin Zet Temperatuur" wrongly to "Daikin Zet temperatuur"

Re: Login mix-up Thermosmart
I have a Thermosmart and Honeywell running together, works fine of course. I had lots of trouble with the Thermosmart (couldn't log in), which is solved in the 2020.1 version. Be sure to have that version (or rather 2020.2), if you don't have it already, as Thermosmart support is improved in these ...

Re: Daikin Hardware
Thanks!!! As I am Dutch as well, there is not a lot that needs to be changed in the script :D Edit: after adding the LUA script (device-triggered), switching the special mode works fine! However, the log file shows this error for this line of code when I tried to change the mode: 2020-05-20 13:01:29 ...

Re: Daikin Hardware
I use powermode in my Domoticz; created a selector switch for it, in my setup with the name "Daikin Special Mode". In this switch I have three buttons: off, Power Mode and Economic Mode. In my setup I have a LUA script controlling the Daikin, I have added some stuff for the Powerfunctions. The ...

Re: Controlling daikin airco with DzVentz, not consistent
I use a blocky "program" for my new Daikin airco (see my recentlyccreated thread with blocky control in the Heating and cooling section of the forum). In my experience switching mode to Cool or Heat doesn't work reliable. It sometimes works, but often it does not. In the log I see communication ...

Re: Airco control with blocky
I have added 2 things. The first thing is a dummy switch which makes it possible to terminate the whole blocky program. That enables my wife to just use the standard infrared remote for the Daikin. It can be switched on/of on the tablet in the kitchen where a Domoticz frontpage is displayed ...

Airco control with blocky
Just for fun, here is a screenshot of my blocky control "program" for my Daikin airconditioning: Blockly.png I have used the temperature that my Honeywell T6 smart thermostat gives as input, as the Daikin is at appr. 4 meter height. The central gas heating that my Honeywell T6 smart thermostat ...

Pair new Popp radiator valve with new Aeotec gen 5 stick (solved)
Just for users that run into the same problem as I did. Fresh out of the box the Aeotec z-wave was recognized by Domoticz (2020.1 on pi), but the Popp valve (also fresh out of the box) just couldn't be paired. Resetting the valve didn't help, however resetting the stick and removing and then add it ...

Re: Thermostat for central heating (OpenTherm)

I have this problem for more than a year also. Changed my password to something more simple, but it didn't help
Update: tried the beta version of Domoticz; also not succesful.
I have sent an email to the Thermosmart helpdesk.
