Re: Looking for a reliable smoke detector

Take a look at the smoke sensors from POPP. They use a good brand for the smoke sensor (Ei Products) and they installed a Z-Wave module inside the sensor. The smoke sensor has a build in battery and the Z-Wave module uses it own battery. https://www.momotica.nl/zwave-sensoren/zwave/melders ...

Re: Home fan speed setting using ACM-LV10

Why not using the 0-10volt dimmer from qubino?

I'm using it in my buva installation and there is no need for any other components or external power supply.

Try if is works better when you connect it directly to you pi.

Some USB sticks don't work well when they are connected by a hub of even an USB extension cable.

Do you use a separate power supply for the USB hub?
Could be that your raspberry hasn't got enough power for the UZB1

Re: Fibaro Dimmer 2 FGD-212 supported? New type!

Is it possible to connect the FGD212 directly to the lamp and not having a "physical switch", my plan was to use WallC-2 http://www.z-wave.me/index.php?id=30 as the main controller, and domoticz as secondary/automatic controller. Try to install the fibaro dimmer without the blue wire. There can be some fluctuations on the blue wire.

Did you try restarting your pc? Or at the hardware section, select the rfxcom and press update. Do not remove the device or every device will be removed that uses the rfxcom.
