Re: Looking for a reliable smoke detector
Take a look at the smoke sensors from POPP. They use a good brand for the smoke sensor (Ei Products) and they installed a Z-Wave module inside the sensor. The smoke sensor has a build in battery and the Z-Wave module uses it own battery. https://www.momotica.nl/zwave-sensoren/zwave/melders ...

Why not using the 0-10volt dimmer from qubino?
I'm using it in my buva installation and there is no need for any other components or external power supply.

Re: Domoticz Touchscreen Console
Nice project; thanks for sharing! I just finished building the console. What I notice is that the buttons on switches (Timers, Notifications) consume a lot of space. These buttons are not visible in the pictures posted by the TS. Can these be removed somehow? Add the switches to the dashboard ...

Try if is works better when you connect it directly to you pi.
Some USB sticks don't work well when they are connected by a hub of even an USB extension cable.

Do you use a separate power supply for the USB hub?
Could be that your raspberry hasn't got enough power for the UZB1

Try set setting number 2 to 75 for now.
then press the button at the bottom of the page. setting should me stored to the dimmer.
Test your dimmer, if it's still the same try set the max dim level lower.

Did you try restarting your pc? Or at the hardware section, select the rfxcom and press update. Do not remove the device or every device will be removed that uses the rfxcom.
