Humidity hardware sensor update / nvalues must be integers
This one is obvious once you bang your head aginst the wall for a while. Just documenting it in the hope it's more easily searchable
I have a sensor I only want the Humidity reading from, its value comes into Domoticz from Node-red, where the input is a plain numeric value that is then JSON wrapped ...

Re: Aquara FP2
Thanks fo the info, but I'm only using MQTT as an easy way to get the status out of HA, it's the reliance on HA I'm trying to avoid, so I need something to emulate a homekit controler to pair the FP2 with. I managed to find the github project that HA uses for it's Homekit controller, and have ...

Re: Aquara FP2
I have this working. I tried the homebridge integration but as far as I could tell this only allows ingest of Domoticz devices into Homekit, I couldn't find a way to feed a homekit device into Domoticz. So.......I set up a H*me Assistant VM, used the built in Homekit integration in HA to get the FP2 ...

Re: Connection Error
None of my temperature sensors that use ESPEasy are working, an JSON API call from a web browser works, as does curl, just not any ESPEasy device.

Re: Just a question about running/installing,building when the pi account is not there as standard anymore
I run domoticz in a debian 11 container using my default user name, which isn't pi, with no spotted ill effects. It ran on a full fat ubuntu 20.04 server vm previously, the user was not pi on that either. I don't build however, just use the curl installation method.

Re: USB passthrough to a container LXC?
A bit late but I've just done this with an RFXtrx433 (only, no Conbee), it was a right pain to find the info to get it working so I need to put the howto somewhere so it can be found, and I found this thread, so I'm putting it here. I wrote a long list of instructions, but deleted them for ...

Re: LightwaveRF switch ID
Don't the sockets "learn" the switch code? In which case would adding a manual switch with a code different to ones you already have, set the socket into learning mode, and operate the new switch work?

Re: TUTORIAL 433 remote -> Sonoff RF bridge (tasmota) -> Domoticz over MQTT -> Blockly
A little late to the party, but having just sorted this myself thought I would put the information somewhere, this looked ideal, even though the title is Blockly, and my solution uses dzvents, but I used this thread to get the data coming into domoticz, then butchered some dzvents code to get it ...

Sonoff T2EU-RF switch with RfxTrx433
Looking at the information for the RFXtrx433(e) regarding the Sonoff protocol, all of the information I can find is regarding using the RFXtrx as a transmitter to control Sonoff RF relays. Has anyone got this working the other way round? i.e using the RFXtrx to receive a signal from a Sonoff RF ...

Re: Radiator valve: LG-13 vs FGT001
Depends how hacky you want it, and your house setup, I have mains outlets next to all of the radiators so I use Sonoff S20s ($6, pick your country's version) flashed with espeasy, a ds18b20 wired temperature sensor (err, bought a bag of them, think $1) soldered onto gpio 0 (the contacts of the ...
