Re: Node die spontaneously
I'm really disappointed in zwave and domoticz. My previous fs20 setup was more stable at half the price. That's the thing, zwave products are not cheap. And I don't mind spending money, but I expect quality. Keeping things working is a nightmare, and takes me hours per month just to stay operational ...

Node die spontaneously
Domoticz v4.9700 Raspi 3, with a Aeonlabs Zwave stick Gen5 (on a long USB cable away from other stuff) I have around 30 z-wave devices in my house Once every week a node dies, I get a error message like; 2019-03-02 19:05:22.959 Error: OpenZWave: Node has failed (or is not alive), Switch command not ...

Re: Make blockly Else if to an actual else if
I totally agree with Xztraz; "As people have figured out Domoticz implementation of blocklys Else-If just works as a bunch of stacked if's. Not very logical." "This should be rewritten to work as a real else-if and ordinary if-blocks should be stackable." Again, I want to do something simple with ...

Please let us know if you found a solutions for this, I used the camera of the tablet for motion detection, but that doesn't really work. Lot of false positives.

Re: Wall Mount Touchscreen - Show Your Designs
I bought one of these cheap square qi chargers and put two stripes of velcro (klittenband) on the qi charger and the tablet. Drill a hole in the cheap qi charger to hide the cables. Big advantage of this approach is that you don't see any wires and you could take of the tablet to program it on the ...

Zwave Dimmer not picking up commands
In my sleeping room I have a Qubino ZMNHDD1 Flush Dimmer, and a NodOn CRC-3-1-00 Octan Remote. First time I pressed the button on the NodOn, nothing happens. Second time I press the button, it takes almost 4 seconds before the light goes on. See youtube; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_z9rXRE9W4 ...

How to change all radiator valve's
I have 8 zwave POPP radiator valves. And just as I do with my lights, I'd like to be able to set them all to some value.
But when I create a group, I cannot add the POPP's. What is domoticz/recommended way to solve this problem?
Or in other words, how can I set all my radiator's to 4C?

Have Aeon motion sensor GEN 6 turn on a light when motion is detected.
Hi, I have Domiticz with a Aeon Gen 5 USB stick in a Raspi. I have a Aeon motion sensor GEN 6, and a Qubino flush relay. How do I associatie the two, in such a way, that if Domoticz is down, the light will still go on when there is motion detected. I do have the Qubino setup in Domoticz, and I do ...

When my front door opens, and it's dark, and it's not already on, the hallway light goes on for 5 minutes. Enough to hang my coat.

Re: Seperate Switch & Dimmer setup - Best Practice?
Hey cjnicholl,
I'm having the same issue, can you please share your solution?, I need some details, on how to configure the Nodon (gateway/duo mode?), and some details on how to make the group table in domoticz.
Thanks in advance

Thanks very much for all your responses, but I really need a solution that is also working when my Pi+Controller is down.

Re: Zwave - how to link a Device with a NodeID/Name
Thanks for the tip on the node ID in Hex, that works partly, because some hex are appended.
I still think it would be a welcome feature to have the Node Name in device table.
Apperently there are others who have the same question; viewtopic.php?t=11509

Zwave - how to link a Device with a NodeID/Name
I've added 10 zWave nodes to Domoticz, resulting in a list of 75 devices. But there is no way to find what Device is linked to what NodeID. I have a big list of switches, and I don't know which one is what. I've ended up pressing the buttons, and check the 'last seen' to determine what node I'm ...

zwave-how to control wall-plug with domoticz and physical switch
Hi, I'm new to zwave and Domoticz, and I have a conceptual question; I have a wall-plug, and I can associate it with Domoticz (via USB zwave stick), OR with the nodon switch. I cannot associate the two to operate the same wall-plug. I'd like to be able to control the wall-plug from domoticz via the ...
