Issue install LGTV Plugin
Just upgraded to latest Beta of Domoticz to get the Python plugins working again. They stopped after an upgrade to Buster in combination with Python 3.9.2. Most plugins run smootly indeed, except for the LGTV plugin (see https://github.com/GameDevHobby/Domoticz-LGTV-WebOS-Plugin ). After installing ...

Re: Woox introducing new Zigbee devices in Europe
As RogerSch I'm migrating from KaKu to Zigbee and I was wondering why there is an issue with the range. As far as I read somewhere, Zigbee supports a mesh where there is one controller and optionally several routers which are capable of forwarding the commands and signals. So the range issue should ...

Re: Chamberlain Garage door opener RFLink
One other thing to consider is that the Chamberlain works on 868 Mhz instead of 433. At least, mine does.
So no wonder it cannot be seen by the RFLink...

Re: How to put logic to temperature events?
So how could I add a timer variable ... how long is the temp over 47F ?? Nice to see the way you think. How about running the script every minute and keep track of the number of minutes in a separate variable? Something like this: IF temp OK THEN NumDefrostMinutes = 0; ELSE NumDefrostMinutes + 1 ...

Re: How to put logic to temperature events?
Hai,
Would it be possible to set the limit to another value before warning?
I can imagine the freezer would not reach e.g. 100F if it is working ok.
So you would only need to be informed when the temperature is not below the critical value.

Re: Honeywell Round Wifi+Synology NAS
Hai Chief,
Interesting project you have.
Can you tell me how you managed to connect the Honeywell?
I have a Remeha eBase communicating with a remote station and would like to control it via Domoticz as well.
Thanks.

You mention the log:
However, you also state:2018-09-02 08:59:47.090 Status: Domoticz: TCP connected to: 10.0.1.xx:6144
Looks to me there are two different port numbers involved: 6144 vs 6644...they both run on the same internet network (standard port 6644)

Re: how can i add Somfy blinds to Domoticz ? (i have de 433.92)
Hai, I've got my Somfy blinds working as Blinds Inverted using the RFXtrx433E. The trick I used is not to use the programming button on the remote but the programming option on the motor. The motor can be programmed to react to several remotes, the Domoticz device is just another remote. So, try ...

Re: Request for the use of friendly names in addition to device names
The data set of a device now contains the ID to identify a device. In order to get this suggestion working, we only need to define an additional field (e.g. "slug") and the ability to set and change its value. Of course there also needs to be some validation when setting and changing the value to ...

In another post I read about Dashticz.
This is also a (set of) php page(s) running in the Domoticz environment.
How about to use the same technique for your php pages?

Re: Temperature & Humidity Sensor compatible with RFXCOM/Domoticz
Hai All, I just recieved my Digoo TH1980 sensor set for temperature measurments for both indoor and outdoor. After I inserted the batteries, it almost immediately showed in my Domoticz installation running on my Synology with an RFXCOM RFXtrx433E. However, as I would expect both temperature values ...

Coupling two Domoticz instances together
Hai, Would it be possible to have two Domoticz instances send information to each other? I have Domoticz running on a RPi 3B+ and one on a Synology NAS. Both are running on the same version (latest stable). It has been working for a while in a master - slave combination where the Synology was the ...

Re: Remeha eTwist
Did anyone try to put an OTGW on that link? (OTGW = OpenTherm GateWay). I've used it on a Remeha Calenta/iSense combination, works great. This means the Remeha "speaks" rather pure OpenTherm, I think. Hai, I've got a Remeha Tzerra in combination with a iSenseRF / iBase. Can this be controlled via ...

Interesting idea.

Would it be possible to have WordPress plugin for handling Domoticz stuff?
I would be willing to help as I do have some experience in building a plugin myself.

Re: Beware of Raspberry Pi SSH hijacks
This looks like a serious issue. And as I try to be carefull and accessible at the same time, I configured a Let's Encrypt certificate on my Synology to access it securely from outside. Now that I also have a RPi, I would like to extend the Lets Encrypt certificate to also make the RPi available ...

Re: control blinds with percentage switch and by time
Interested too. I just installed Somfy blinds with RTS motors. They can be controlled by the Somfy Telis remotes of which I have two different kinds. One is a Pure which can open en close the blinds; tilting the blinds can be by stopping the movement just in the right moment. The second one is a Mod ...
