Note to self:
These are busy times for Gizmocus et all with the major overhaul of parts of Domoticz and there is bound to be a beta broken the next coming days.
No biggie! I for now can fix the problem with the following command sequence:
docker compose pull && docker compose up --force-recreate ...

SOLVED: Hardware devices not enabled Python error in Docker (?) Beta 17204
Hi all,
This morning my Docker container was updated to latest beta (17204). There seems to be a problem with a Python library if I interpret the log correctly:

Re: What's next for Domoticz??
If you need a WAF compliant dash you should really take deep dive into Dashticz. Customisable beyond limits. You could even use a picture of your (grand)kids as a background (such horror!
)
I myself returned to the standard Domoticz dash. Works wonders for me (fast en easy).

Re: What's next for Domoticz??
I have been playing around with HA this weekend. I installed it in a Docker container and tried to get the basics up and running. Being a longtime user of Domoticz I had a hard time getting it to work as I wanted. Maybe I should have investigated more but then again... as a longtime Domoticz user I ...

Re: Python Zigbee plugin, deCONZ bridge (Using Conbee or Raspbee)
Kan någon verifiera att deCONZ bridge med Bookworm 64bit och Domoticz 25.2 fungerar tillsammans. Jag får felmeddlande kopplade till python 3.11??
This forum uses English, not Swedish. I took the liberty to translate it for you

Re: Energy Dashboard (Build in)
Sounds like you have some frustration and assume you will "fix" this with a nice PR that will show a shiny new page?
I found the source of the design and the white background. These are children's coloring pages. :D :D :D
My reply is no longer needed as Firewizard' s responses were spot on.

Re: Fresh install Domoticz
Yes, that does change the original advice. In case you want to utilise Domoticz and "that other home automation software" ;) you might be best of using docker. It will however be challenging using for instance you Zigbee devices in both applications. Not impossible, just a hassle.

Re: Fresh install Domoticz
If you are not planning other roles/software on the RPi I would suggest going the Easy route. Why would you introduce another layen (eg. Docker) if you do not need to seperate roles.

Re: Energy Dashboard (Build in)
The intergrated dashboard is working as expected. Build 16081 shows the correct cost estimates based on the values I entered in the settings. Previous versions showed the cost multiplied by thousand which was a bit confusing ;)

Just to add: The dashboard allways shows 497,2 Watt production. Rain or shine, day or night, it never changes. Anyone any clue how to get the proper value?

I have been experimenting with this dashboard and could use some help getting things to work. I get the readings for gas but not for electricity. The IDX for my (YouLess) P1 meter Electricity is 199. 2024-05-20_15-54.png

Re: DASHTICZ: standby from 22:00 to 07:00
Wouldn't that be something that you configure in the settings of your tablet (I assume you use a tablet)? Might even be an app available that would turn on and off at specific times?
