As i needed to upgrade to Debian Buster , I re-installed everything from scratch
The dzvents system is working fine as expected

I updated again to last beta and the problem is back ...

Finally I re-installed and it works following the installation guide in post#1 , on my Debian9 machine

Pm2 was not installed .
After installing Pm2 , "Pm2 list" shows the server on line

Step#8 : Basic commands play" , "pause" , "state" are OK

==> GREAT !

=> I got " gpg: no valid OpenPGP data found."

The existing gpg files were deleted first from the /home/pi directory

Yes , the rsync problem exists with sudo or without sudo

Rsync command fails ( code 23) due to permission denied for some domoticz files as per attached screenshot.
Rsync runs in a sh script ( options -aH )

Is it a known issue ?

I did a new mdah 0.2.39 install with the last beta V3.9673 and it worked as per your readme.rd !

Testing the installation
Check in a browser it is running
http://gateway_ip:gateway_port/
From there you'll get the following links in the browser.
Check the domoticz is accessible from the hosting ...
