Okay good to know. I just wanted a cheap zigbee plug and this was the cheapest i could find. The metering is just a bonus and just used to see what different items uses of power, in a day/week.

Re: xiaomi door sensor loosing connection to zigate
I pair it next to the cc2591 router. Then when it sits in the mailbox, it seems to be enough just to press the button on the side, for it to connect again

xiaomi door sensor loosing connection to zigate
I have xiaomi door sensor on my mailbox, so i can get a notification when i get mail. The problem is that if i dont get mail after some days, it looses connection and then i have to push the button on the side.
Battery is fine.
Is there something i can do, so it doesn't looses connection?

Re: Easiest zigbee to get working
To offer a slightly different perspective to the previous posts. I have been using zigbee2mqtt for > 6 months now and I am very happy with it. It could just be you are using an old out-dated firmware on CC2531 that has known issues? I could try it again. I can see that there is a new firmware.
