I notice Evohome. Is this supported with the domoticz package, or did you perform some setup yourself?

Any idea how to remove them?
I might also have some old drivers from more than a year ago.

Check if you have some old UsbSerialdrivers in /var/packages/UsbSerialDrivers and /volume1/@appstore/UsbSerialDrivers.Egregius wrote:Any idea how to remove them?

You can delete this folders.
with:
rm -rf /var/packages/UsbSerialDrivers
rm -rf /volume1/@appstore/UsbSerialDrivers

Re: domoticz in synology as package! Available now.
Nope, not there, not anywhere, did a find / -name UsbSerialDrivers.
Only found a empty directory at /usr/syno/etc/packages/UsbSerialDrivers
To be clear: my RFXCOM works, the Aeotec S2 zwave stick didn't.

Factory default fixed the problem with the usb-driver on the synology. For the evohome scripts i use debian chroot.jumbotroll wrote:It looks like you have some old drivers in your system.Alle wrote: In the past i used usbserialdrivers, but uninstalled them some time ago.

Factory default? The reset button on the back of the Syno?
Doesn't that have any other things reset also? Or is everything kept in place?

Not an option. I have 6TB data there... And way to much plugins and other scripts to configure it all over again.
OK, everything is backed up in the cloud, but that's reserved for true disasters.

Re: domoticz in synology as package! Available now.
Check if you have a old cp210x.ko file in /usr/lib/modules and delete it, then try to reinstall domoticz and you will have a newer cp210x.ko in folder /usr/local/domoticz/modules.Egregius wrote:Not an option. Only the one from your package is found:
Oh well, gonna let it sleep for some time. That is often a good thing to do when it doesn't work instantly
Thanks for thinking!
Code: Select all
guy@DiskStation:/volume1/homes/guy/BackupWWW/_logs$ sudo find / -name 'cp210*'
/volume1/@appstore/domoticz/modules/cp210x.ko
guy@DiskStation:/volume1/homes/guy/BackupWWW/_logs$ cd /volume1/@appstore/domoticz/modules
guy@DiskStation:/volume1/@appstore/domoticz/modules$ ll cp210x.ko
28K -rwxr-xr-x 1 domoticz root 26K Jan 22 13:34 cp210x.ko

Thanks for thinking!

Re: domoticz in synology as package! Available now.
Just checking. Is the Evohome HGI-80 module supported within the Synology package? I am not able to see the module on my Synology. It isnt getting a usb port.
