Could you try to do a git pull in order to update the plugin, and do a Domoticz restart.

What is the longest distance where Xiaomi sensor connected to it?
I'm strungling with Xiaomi temp sensor to reach Zigate from about 8-10 meters. It's straight ahead on the porch. There are two big windows between them. Initialisation on Xiaomi sensor works then it loses the connection after several minutes. Swicthing wifi to 5Ghz didn't help on this problem.
I'm thinking about to move away Zigate using a USB extender cable from the place where my NAS and Wifi router are as well.

My repeater (router) is quite the same as your link. I'm using a CC2531 usb sniffer with a special router firmware witch now is supported by zigate.
My syno is at one side of the house, next to the front door. All the sensors are in less than 9 meters distance, 3x aqara motion sensor, 3x aqara temp+hum, 2x vibration sensor and 1x aqara door sensor. Between the zigate and the sensor are max 2 floors (window and vibration sensor), the others are on the first and ground floor.

When I look into the meshnetwork in de webadmin page of zigate I see everyting is connected directly to the zigate, none of the devices does use the router?. Maybe in interpretet the diagram wrong? I do not experience structural connection errors, sometimes the window sensor fails to connect. I want to find out how to (force) connect it to the router.

Okay, I'm having domoticz crashes since I have updated the plugin. There is no newer version of domoticz available for synology. I think I switch back to stable plugin and wait for a domoticz update.

I dont see any errors...
I'm sure it has something to do with the backup. domoticz always crashes on the xx:00 hour.

My last back up of 22:00 is at 18-07-2019 so domoticz does not complete the back up.

With the zigate plugin on the stable branch, not have crashes today

Hello twoenter, hello pipiche, hello all !!

I'm facing the same issue, that's why I reply to this topic.

In my case, the Zigate using USB is working fine. But with Wifi, it's more complicated : I can loose my Aqara sensor informations after a few hours.

I brought the Zigate last month.I reflashed the wifi module this afternoon.

Note : the access to the zigate admin web page is very long, even unreachable some times (have to plug and un plug).

Note also : if I do not select I select /dev/serial0 as serial port, the raspberry pi will start to reboot and reboot without ending. I had to unplug the power to be able to restart normaly and have time to go to the seetings and found that /dev/serial0 was the good one for the Wifi model.


I'm trying right now without the automatic updates of the database. I'll keep you updated.

I didn't think that I would come back so shortly...

I restart my Raspberry Pi before going to sleep (in order to reset every thing) and it kept on rebooting.

At that moment, the admin page of the zigate was down.

I had ton unplug/plug the Wifi Zigate in order to make the things working again.

Durring that moment, my sensors were recorded but with exacly the same tempreture enven if it was decreasing. I have a plot every 5 minutes between 00:00 and 00:30 (all on the same horrizontal line). After I don't have any data until 01h25 (line going down).

Note : the access to the zigate admin web page is very long, even unreachable some times (have to plug and un plug).

Note also : if I do not select I select /dev/serial0 as serial port, the raspberry pi will start to reboot and reboot without ending. I had to unplug the power to be able to restart normaly and have time to go to the seetings and found that /dev/serial0 was the good one for the Wifi model.


I'm trying right now without the automatic updates of the database. I'll keep you updated.
Which version/branch of the plugin are you using ? Indeed there is is a relation with the auto-backup of domoticz

If you have the possibility to switch to beta branch this is issue is addressed

I switch to beta and that is the log I got in my log after my Raspberry Restart.

Got it. You have set Debug mode to something else than None, correct ?

If you do a git pull to get the latest update, this should be fixed.

I didn't recevied after the moment I switched to beta.

When I came back, after lunch, I wasn't able to reach the zigate web admin page. I unpluged/repluged it.

I just did a git pull, a restart, and now the data are slowly comming back (wating for the dashboard update).

I had some troubles with the zigate wifi since the begining for me (15th june) so I set the plugin debug to Domoticz Plugin.
