FTDI FT232R is a smartmeter P1 device and not a RFXCOM
This is my output of the lsusb -i command
|__usb1 1d6b:0002:0310 09 2.00 480MBit/s 0mA 1IF (Linux 3.10.105 xhci-hcd xHCI Host Controller f10f0000.usb3) hub
|__1-1 0403:6001:0600 00 2.00 12MBit/s 90mA 1IF (FTDI FT232R USB UART AC42JLHH)
1-1:1.0 (IF) ff:ff:ff 2EPs (Vendor Specific) ftdi_sio ttyUSB0
|__usb2 1d6b:0003:0310 09 3.00 5000MBit/s 0mA 1IF (Linux 3.10.105 xhci-hcd xHCI Host Controller f10f0000.usb3) hub
|__usb3 1d6b:0002:0310 09 2.00 480MBit/s 0mA 1IF (Linux 3.10.105 xhci-hcd xHCI Host Controller f10f8000.usb3) hub
|__3-1 0403:6001:0600 00 2.00 12MBit/s 90mA 1IF (RFXCOM RFXtrx433 A1WRN1LG)
3-1:1.0 (IF) ff:ff:ff 2EPs (Vendor Specific) ftdi_sio ttyUSB1
|__usb4 1d6b:0003:0310 09 3.00 5000MBit/s 0mA 1IF (Linux 3.10.105 xhci-hcd xHCI Host Controller f10f8000.usb3) hub
|__usb5 1d6b:0002:0310 09 2.00 480MBit/s 0mA 1IF (ehci_hcd f1058000.usb) hub
As you can see the ttsUSB0 is not the RFXCOM but the smartmeter P1 and the RFXCOM is on ttyUSB1
So you code is checking the smartmeter P1 device and not the RFXCOM.

If I can find some time I will make a Synology package which will do the insmod of the tyyUSB on boot of the Nas instead of at start of the domoticz package.

I only have the RFXCOM and a USB disk attached via USB and when the RFXCOM is attached it is shown as an FT232 device.

So on my NAS the FT232 is the RFXCOM. My guess is that it may be connected to that I have a gen1 RFXCOM, have they changed the USB-serial chipset between generations?

Sorry for off topic.
My Synology NAS has got only two USBs which are occupied by 1wire and RFXCOM. I also use Zigbee and zwave protocols at home which are connected to Rasberry pi as Synology has no free USB ports anymore.
I tried to use a USB hub without any success.
Would you please advice whether there is a solution to expand USB ports on the NAS or I should give up?

Thank you a lot for your help in advance.

Does your hub has his own power supply, because this configuration draws too much power for a non powered hub.
If so please connect the devices via the usbhub and then post the output of the following two command here.

Code: Select all

lsusb -I
lsmod | grep usbcore

Since update to DSM 6.2.2 (running on my DS412+) i cannot get my Z-Wave network to work. All devices show up as unknown and I get time-outs on several devices. All of them do not work.
Running Domoticz 4.10538. What can I do to resolve this?
I've already rebooted, restarted, removed stick a couple of times and added the delay between drivers and domoticz start as mentioned 2 pages back.
what can I do?

what happens if in domoticz setup-hardware you disable the zwave stick and after that enable it.

so select zwave stick-disable update
secect zwave stick-enable-update

this sometimes helps me with modules not giving out al readings

Excluding and including the devices solves the issue

Playing with my DS218J but have a issue with my bluetooth.
Got a unknow BT dongle and it's recognized.
But unfortunately when i conduct "l2ping <mac>" or hcitool scan then they can't find any devices while my Rpi does find all my devices.
I feel i miss something, searching google the entire day didn't help.
Didn't install anything besides the SynoDomotics with python.

I know ipkg has bluez but it hasn't a compatible bootstrap for my DS218J.
So thats a no go, if i can't get BT working for my SomeOneHome trigger then i'll stick to my Rpi...
Setup:
- RPi4 - Domo Stable / Aeotec Z-stick7 / PiHole Unbound Gemini
- RPi4 - PiHole / PiVPN Unbound Gemini
- Synology DS923+ / DS218j
- P1 Gas/Power, SmartGateway watermeter
- Fibaro switches, contacts, plugs, smoke/Co2 ect
- rootfs @ USB HDD

I think you need bluez..
I tried to compile bluez for synology without success..

Hi, i'm trying to update my domoticz to the latest version on my DS213+. However when downloading and trying to manually install via the package center i get the following error:
"This pacakage is not supported on the platform of DiskSation or incompatible with the current DSM version."
(i'm running on DSM 6.2.2)

Anybody else faceing this? e.g. anybody know how to resolve this?

ps. I notice when i want to download the package with arch monaco (url: http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_stable_6.2/?arch=qoriq#) whilest my ds213+ has a qoriq arch. Maybe something there?

You are right, DS-213+ use arch-qoriq.
There was a error in a config file on my webpage, but this should be fixed now 8-)

Since i upgraded to version 4.10602 i see a issue with python plugin iDetect
(https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=20467)

2019-04-19 13:26:56.629 Error: (iDetect Wifi presence detection) Aborting plugin initialization because SSH client could not be found
2019-04-19 13:27:06.779 Error: (iDetect Wifi presence detection) Plugin initialization did not complete successfully. Check the (debug) log for startup errors.

For some reason it can't find SSH client but it always worked and nothing has changed to the Synology system, no DSM upgrade or anything like that.
SSH still workes like before so no noticeable changes there either.
I can't downgrade easily because Synology doesn't let you.
Any ideas?
Nothing changed in the package only updated domoticz from latest source.
Maybe something went wrong when you updated?
I have build the latest domoticz 4.10603 Alpine you can test or if that not work, maybe try to reinstall the plugin.
My apologies for my late reply but just installed version 4.10603 and the error message regarding SSH client is gone, script is working fine now.
It looks like something was wrong in version 10602 regarding SSH client then.
Hi schumi, did you ever experience this issue again? I have the exact same error message, i'm running on version 4.10717, build hash b38b49e-modified. Any idea's how to get this resolved?
