I have a raspberry pi3, free of charge, because i move my installation to another Baytrail, more reliable :) !!!!
Now, i need to add all my sensors again... but if your idea will works it, it is perfect !
If you have a backup of your installation with 2 gateway maybe you can use it, and remove the gateway who is on your baytrail.

Second solution is to made a VirtualMachine with debian on your baytrail. And compile domoticz from source.

On mine i got exsi and some 3 virtual machine,

He :) that is a good idea too !
In fact, i have removed on the Xiaomi software... so no backup inside !
I need to remove now and add it again... I expect to do it this weekend.
Raspberry idea is not stupid and i can use it for other thing or add extra services on the second raspberry :)

Didn't try, but you can try also try to compile on the same machine 2nd domoticz in a different folder, from corbin's git, listening on different port.

On the same macho you'll have 2 servers listening on different ports, different databases, etc..
Then set slave to the LocalHost on the relevant port..

Hi, @corbin
After update from your repository, stopped working motion detector and door opening sensor.
When I update hardware, I see 2 new devices (switch). What is it ?

Code: Select all

2017-02-07 10:09:40.492 XiaomiGateway: stopped
2017-02-07 10:09:40.492 XiaomiGateway: Worker started...

I see a lot of "double" sensor on my installation but with the same feature.

Example for :

Code: Select all

32	XIAOMI-GARAGE	29CC40B2	1	Anneau lumineux Garage	Lighting Limitless/Applamp	RGBW	Off
1	XIAOMI-GARAGE	0785A7CF	1	Xiaomi RGB Gateway	Lighting Limitless/Applamp	RGBW	Off

if you are running a single gateway, maybe deleting the devices will stop the duplicates. multiple gateways will add duplicate items however.
Question about the Xiaomi Gateway in Domoticz? Please check the Wiki first: https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Xiaomi_Gateway_(Aqara)

@Corbin - tried today last beta from your git V3.6635 - i have got semi working build without setting ip manual in XiaomiGateway.cpp. Detected all zigbee devices - but still have error with invalid key, when trying to switch zigbee plug or gatweway light for example.

In XiaomiGateway.cpp i see #ifdef _DEBUG - how can i see output?

Double click is not correctly matched to the selector with the latest beta..
The selector becomes state 'UNDEFINED'.

When i press long click.. it triggers long click + double right after eachother

Hi,

Does anyone tried to connect a remote Xiaomi Gateway to domoticz ?
With 9898 port open, it should be ok, right ?

Depends on your network setup - it will need to pass through the UDP multicast packets to begin with.

probably just need to delete and re-add the switch, it has extra states now: Off|Click|Long Click|Long Click Release|Double Click

Another question.
Yesterday, I tried to replace a 433 Temp/Hum device by the Xiaomi one and it didn't work at all.
In fact the Xiaomi has just disapeared instead of taking place of the 433 one.

Anyone already try this operation ?

Xiaomi Cube + Yeelight : Rotative dimmer !
Hi deennoo

can you share the script to get dimming light with Cube, looks very nice?
Should it work also with a colored Yeelight, just for the dimming part?
Thanks

BTW, just got one, but I'm not able to get these status:
tap_twice
swing
alert
free_fall

Can someone explain how to get those status?

I promise i will, i m just waiting the next stable version, because this need a change about svalues for applamp/limitless device and need to be tested before

You can try it be your own : idea is

check svalues of your dimmable device
check rotation svalues
if rotation value change then
dimmer svalues = previous dimmer svalues + rotation value

I got your solution !

Add a second domoticz+rpi/syno or anything else for the 2nd gateway and use the domoticz slave system to add the 2nd gateway hardware to your main
