Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
Small update, if I disable & enable the device, there are values entered, but unfortunately only once. Note I only have the CO2/temp/hum/dB device, not a weather station itself, but values are there (once), so I thought it would work? 2022-12-15 20:49:22.582 Status: Netatmo: Worker started... 2022 ...

Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
Hi all, Is this issue already solved? I'm seeing the same things. Removed # etc. from my password, initial verification is working, including getting three devices in Domoticz, but only updated once. In Netatmo web, I do see in 'Partner Apps' the authorizid Domoticz API. Using Domoticz 2022.2 (build ...

Re: Replace smart thermostat with WiFi relay?
Hi Mike, The behaviour you describe seems to be to avoid a big overshoot? I'm using the Domoticz SVT plugin (smart virtual thermostat). This works very well and learns the characteristics of the room. So it will try to put in as much energy as it thinks is needed based on current temperature ...

Re: MQTT Audo-discovery
Hi all, I know the Domoticz Auto-discovery is Beta, but is it working at least to a basic level? I can (as seen above) now succesfully add switches automatically, but when I try to turn them on from Domoticz, I get the following error: Mosq: MQTT_Discovery: Invalid/Unhandled data received! (Topic ...

Thanks Jos! That was it! I already thought about the unique_id, but thought it needed to be in the /xx/xx/ path, not as an json item! It's working now!

Re: MQTT Audo-discovery
What a coincidence, I',m also trying out the auto-discovery thing of MQTT integrated in Domoticz. It is working, but when the device sending the config item restarts, new devices are created. This is what I send: homeassistant/switch/esp_blinds/Mqnas/config/': { "name": "Blind_1_Mqnas", "cmd_t ...

Re: How to configure electricity meter with ESP easy pulse counter?
Hi,
Not 100% sure, but if you edit the counter in Domoticz, you can change the way it calculates; you can choose From device, which I think you have now. But you can set it to 'Compute' that way, Domoticz will take care of the totals.
Regards
Marco

Re: Fronius solar daily counter large negative value
Thanks that was it! Probably related to the issues referred to above by waltervl, the sensor might have flipped to from device. After looking into to this more with above knowledge, indeed in the Fronius dzVents script (which worked a long time) contained an error, the update of the current/total ...

Re: Fronius solar daily counter large negative value
Hi FireWizard! Thanks for your quick help. Unfortunately that is not the issue here. It happens every day since ~20th of March. One thing I also tried but forgot to mention in the opening post is I tried to remove the device, recreate it, but the problem just continued. I'm thinking it could be ...

Fronius solar daily counter large negative value
Hi all, I'm using beta 2020.2 (build 13129). To monitor my solar panels I use the Fronius plugin (by use of the dzVents script https://github.com/aukedejong/domoticz-fronius-inverter-plugin . Since around the 20th of March, at the early morning when the panels start generating power (around 6, 7 am ...

Hi!
Not sure if it will help, but if you edit a power device, you can switch the 'Energy read' between 'Computed' and 'From device'.

Marco

Re: Dashticz Dial - Features, Fixes & Updates
Hi all,
What kind of display hardware do you use with the dials? I have a small OrangePi with a 15" touchscreen, but this is resistive, which is fine for buttons etc, but dials are not working quite well.

Re: Which multiroom thermostat to choose?
Hi! I have a multiroom setup using several instances of the Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat (domoticz plugin). We have a heatpump which can (next to the standard thermostat) also be initiated by a relais switch. All rooms have a thermometer connected to Domoticz and all SVT's point to a ...

Re: Get analog value for anemometer (ESPEASY)
Hi!
Not sure what exactly is going wrong, but it might be that var2 never gets above zero. If var1 is the value from the picture, e.g. 10 or 15, the *30/1024 would be rounded down to zero I think. To debug you could consider pushing var1 to domoticz to see what that value is.

Marco

Re: How to read the control signal 0-10v
Hi, Did you ever work with some electronics? If you would use an esp8266 (Wemos D1 mini e.g.) and espeasy, you might feed the signal through a voltage divider (2 resistors) to the analog input (so to change the 10v back to I think 3.3v max, but you would need to check the specs of the esp8266 ...

Hello Gents, I have fully working solution made on Arduino Mega (just to control lights via standard switches). Now i would like to make it more Smart, by adding RPi (domoticz) to control it e.g via smartphone. I installed Domoticz sucessfully (the service / portal is available). The arduino is ...

Trafficinfo segstart / end
Hi all, Great work you're all doing with Dashticz! I implemented a nice dashboard, and started using the trafficinfo, which is working great. I now wanted to use the segStart and segEnd to limit my A7 to a small piece between Heerenveen and Drachten. For this I looked up the hectometer values and ...

Re: ESP8266 dropping WiFi connection
Another tip: for me it helped to set all access points (I have three) to same SSID, but channels 1, 6 and 11. These don't overlap. Also, use 20Mhz only and only N (but of course, that's my setup, with my house, with my ESP's etc.) No guarantees haha
