Re: Read only Raspberry Pi OS to prevent corruption

I always see a lot of complaining about the Sd cards, but my guess is that its the hardware (RPI) or software (os/applications) that is to blame for the corruptions. I use SD cards for a lot of different things at home and we use SD cards in a lot of our applications at work. The only time there is ...

Re: Read only Raspberry Pi OS to prevent corruption

So i have this:
osmc@osmc:~$ cat /sys/fs/ext4/mmcblk0p2/*_write_kbytes
361108273
2895844
So over 300GB written in 150 days (last format)?

There must be something seriously wrong somewhere?

Re: Read only Raspberry Pi OS to prevent corruption

About 40GB in 3 days 1 hour... That is crazy amounts, if this is the case with standard domoticz installs its no wonder why the SD cards is breaking. That data amount is the same as streaming SD (standard definition) quality video for the same amount of time. And its aprox 500mb every hour. Does ...

Are you actually collecting google analyticz data from everyones dashticz? ... In which file(s)? :o PS: it's in the index.html file Have you tried to remove it? Yes, in the index file. It should be no problem to remove it, or even change it with your own. Its not a "dangerous" thing but it is very ...

Mwhhb. ? What do you mean?? A backdoor?? No, not a backdoor. Google analyticz collects visitordata from websites. What IP adress they use, device, time/date, time spent on each page, what webpage they came from. Its used on almost every website in the world BUT when it comes to someones smarthome ...

Re: DMX

This would be a nice feature to implement. Then i dont have to choose between DIY ws2811 mysensors nodes and DIY DMX controllers. Theres no need for advanced features, for lightshows i would still use seperate software (vixen) but it would be nice to be able to at least set solid colors from ...

Is there any info on how to controll the wifi module without flashing it with ESPeasy?

It seems like a timeconsuming prosess if its possible to send normal http commands to it from a dummyswitch in domoticz.

Re: PIR sensor + eps8266

If you want to make more DIY nodes you could look into MySensors (wireless arduino nodes), i have 5 nodes with RGB LED strips, 3 PIR, 2 "clappers" and 2 nodes with LCD/OLED display running stable as a rock. I can certainly look into this however looking at the website from mysensors they use the ...
