Re: Compilation failure against Boost 1.70.0

I've started getting this error as well.
I had previously compiled from source with no problems, but suddenly, after running `updatedomo` from the domoticz directory, I got the error

Code: Select all

Found libBoost version 1.70.0, 106000 or newer required

Re: Dashticz - General Discussions

Oops, my bad.
I thought I was on 2.5.5, but I was actually on 2.5.3.
I updated to 2.5.10 and it works OK now.

Re: Dashticz - General Discussions

The PR was merged on February 21st, version 2.5.5 See https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=67&t=27082 Thanks. I had already made the changes referred to in the PR but the image doesn’t update. I’m obviously missing something. The wiki still refers to a script that needs to run. Are you say ...

Re: Changing Moonphase to use different provider

Now that wunderground no longer issues free API keys, has anybody modified the moonphase module to get it's phase info from a different provider? I'm modifying the moon part of Dashticz. It will be merged in the next beta release. It then will work independently from Domoticz. Hi there No pressure ...

OO programming with dzEvents

I’m working up a design for a “better” central heating controller for Domoticz. (Please don’t flame because you think somebody has already been there). Coming from an OO background, I am thinking in terms of objects for thermostats, boiler controls, timers, timer plans etc. However, the challenge is ...

Let the second follow the setting of the first plus the difference.
That could be the solution. Thanks

Re: Calibrating the Danfoss Z Thermostatic Rad Valve

Just set the second valve 0,5 or 1 degree higher than the other. Problem solved [emoji16] I’d thought of that, but I’d still want to hide the fact it’s higher from the UI (particularly the Dashticz display in the living room (where these two radiators are fitted). Otherwise, SWMBO’s OCD will compel ...

Re: Calibrating the Danfoss Z Thermostatic Rad Valve

Danfoss does NOT suggest to install the valve vertically (could not find the document, but I'm quite sure about it) I've not seen that anywhere. It would be a deal-breaker (to She Who Must Be Obeyed) if I were to suggest changing the fittings on half a dozen radiators :D more... it seems to exist ...

Calibrating the Danfoss Z Thermostatic Rad Valve

I have several Danfoss 014G0013 Z-Wave radiator valves installed around the house. Two of them are in the same room and I've noticed quite a variance in their behaviour. Despite the ambient temperature being more or less constant across the room and both being set to the same set-point, one radiator ...

Re: Weekly programming

Thanks for coming back to me.

I’d been having a number of UI display-related issues that affected the display of devices: not just this module.

Eventually, I did a clean install of Domoticz and those problems went away. I’ve not got around to trying this module again, but I will soon.

Re: Weekly programming

I'm obviously not getting something here. I'm running 4.9700. I've downloaded the latest from github, copied the files to the necessary places and updated html5.appcache to force the browser cache to update. However, I see no change in the UI. I just see the original timer screen. I even tried ...

Re: Strange behaviour of Viking 02035, 02038, TS3320

Just an update on this because I've noticed something else odd with these. I left them connected, but don't use them anymore. They have settled down and have stopped the wild fluctuations. However, I realised just now that their readings are inverted. Thus, one of them says the temp is currently ...

Re: Python Plugin: Smart Virtual Thermostat

That’s an interesting way to control the boiler. I’ll be monitoring to see how well that works in the winter.

Choosing remote control light switches (UK)

I have a domoticz setup with a mix of Z-Wave and Lightwave RF devices. I now want to add the room lights but I'm not sure about which switches to go for. The room lights are a mix of halogens and compact flourescent and the switches are a mix of 1,2 and 3-gangs with some in tandem (e.g. stairs and ...

The're not a little, squat white thing looking a bit like a flattened egg are they? I have two of them, not much in the way of a identification other than Model : XT200 on the back. No, these are like small bricks on their ends: 5 x 2 x 1cm So far, no luck, so back into the bits and pieces box they ...

Re: Z-Wave Radiator-valve recommendation ?

Here 4 Popp valves , works verry good , with Nest thermostat , second step is to operate them with the Smart Virtual Thermostat who already controls the floorheating of the shower SVT is not a good solution for controlling thermostatic valves. It’s designed for On/Off valves, whereas Popp valves a ...

Strange behaviour of Viking 02035, 02038, TS3320

I have a number of these sensors around the house. Recently, a couple of them have started playing up. I've tried changing batteries but it makes no difference. Sensor one returns more or less random temperatures. Changing the adjustment in the device has no effect. I'm treating that one as failed ...
