Re: Scheduler for INDEVOLT home battery

I have about 6kwh (1400euros incl. btw).
Last time I checked, the price is about 600 euro/2kWh.

Still relatively cheap, usually I see prices of 5000-6000 Euro/10kWh. What would cause the price difference?

For years I have a 'software battery' running in Domoticz:

Re: Scheduler for INDEVOLT home battery

@jake, where are you going to get 5 cents of delta between usage and return? Are you in Belgium? As in the Netherlands the delta will be 0.5 cents of even less.
So Return On Investment time will be much longer. I just got a new contract with green choice for 1 year. Until the end of this year, we ...

Re: Scheduler for INDEVOLT home battery

Re: Also fell into the update trap

The suggested functionality would be very much appreciated. As a hobby programmer I always try to think for the user and make his life as easy as possible. Warning that an update can completely screw up his Domoticz instance, should definitely be on that list.

Welcome. Yes I have admin right with that user.

I am just a simple user of the plugin. You say that is working fine otherwise, that is kind of odd. I would almost say that you have the wrong python version installed? Do you run the latest version of the plugin itself?

This is mine:

Re: Dashticz v3.14.1-beta

I updated to today's latest beta and my energy blocks now have all additional title text. For instance, this block:

blocks['240_1'] = {
width: 4,
title: 'Opbrengst',
icon: 'fas fa-sun',
unit: 'W',
switch: true
};

Now shows in Dashticz as:
0W
Opbrengst: nu

other blocks have now extended ...

Sometimes I hate open source. If one developer has no longer fun, the project is dead. Software communism not always works. Did you sponsor the original developer by any means?
Even in communism era everybody had to work and that with only a mediocre outcome. IMO there are 3 options for you:

Re: can dashticz run on very old Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 ?

Is there a way to get a dashtic dashboard (just one page) run on a very old Samsung Galaxy Tab 3? I can type the URL and it shows "dashtics is starting" but then nothing.

If not possible, anyone with experience hacking such a device so you can install and run python programs on it?

I want to use ...

Thank you for your feedback. I think the newer version of python belongs to Debian bulseye and the 3.7.3 to buster.

I am on a very recent 2023.2 beta and have no trouble.
What does the log say when you disable/enable the svt hardware?
Do you see a working python in the 'about' of Domoticz? Mine says python 3.9.2

I wonder if it has to do with the new domoticz 2023 version which requires login. Could it be that the plugin is not allowed, or set up to do that?

I am still on an older beta version (2022.2)...

Today the water pressure in my central heating did this.... a drop from 1.8 to 0.7....and I got a nice email warning from Domoticz as configured.
So I could spend the afternoon to find the leak and fix it, instead of ending up in a cold house. Thank you !!

Re: planning battery charging/discharging with hourly electricity prices (now incl solar)

Thanks for the hard work! I reviewed your documentation and I have 1 point of improvement:
Add units to your explanation of variables: I assume that battery capacity is in Wh, charge speed is in W, angle is in degrees etc. Just to be sure.
