Today the water pressure in my central heating did this.... a drop from 1.8 to 0.7....and I got a nice email warning from Domoticz as configured.
So I could spend the afternoon to find the leak and fix it, instead of ending up in a cold house. Thank you !!
Thank you. Domoticz (with OTGW) saved the day.

With second hand OpenTherm Gateway (OTGW) in between my thermostat and boiler.

Nice. In the ages before domoticz I always noted the meter values for gas and electricity, combined with degrees days. One time I noted a deviation and checked out the boiler. The culprit turned out to be a locked flow switch. This kept turning the boiler on and off because max temperature is reached. I cleaned the switch and everything was fine afterwards.willemd wrote:Today the water pressure in my central heating did this.... a drop from 1.8 to 0.7....and I got a nice email warning from Domoticz as configured.

One of the most useful features I have installed in Domoticz: an e-mail alert when the water pressure in my central heating becomes too low.
After filling up the system last week, I got an alert this morning. Turns out the pressure dropped from 1.8 to 1.0 in 2 days.....leak has now been fixed.
The spikes at the end of the graph is me filling up the system, locating the leak and fixing it.
