Have you added the devices to a room in the room plan on dz?
If you go into the controlicz web site it will show if the device is seen but not controllable due to it not being in a room.

Re: Lets Encrypt error
Lets Encrypt looks like it is attempting to connect via http, so port 80
Your domoticz is listening on port 8080.
So I'm guessing you need to look at the port redirection set up on your router, open on port 80 and redirected to 8080, it can be removed once Lets Encrypt is set up.

Re: Controlicz - Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Separate thoughts with the ngrok set up... since ngrok has been running I'm starting to consider the security / privacy side of this set up. Previously I locked port 443 down to the two (probably only one needed - Nick?) controlicz IPs on my firewall. With the free ngrok this is not possible ...

Re: Controlicz - Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Hi mraichura, thanks dude! yeah, I never got to the bottom of why your code was not stable in my environment. I wrapped notifications around it including a heartbeat report but nothing worked. I installed ngrok both independently as a service and also via the nodejs environment in case it made a ...

Re: Controlicz - Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Hi guys, I've managed to spend some time to get a ngrok alternative based on running ngrok as a service and then running a python script via cron for updates. I couldn't get the great solution from mraichura working reliably for some reason. Have a look at my github the readme should cover most ...

Re: detecting analog doorbell
ok but why doesn't the xiaomi door sensor(reed switch) pick up the magnetic field? Just a guess but perhaps the AC changes (50Hz) is too fast for the reed to react. I tried using a reed switch route originally but couldn't get it to work even if I laid it on the coil. Hence I went for a bridge ...

Re: detecting analog doorbell
Try using a (bridge) rectifier and capacitor to convert the AC->DC and use an opto coupler to connect it to your raspberry GPIO. I did similar, 8v(ish) ac fully rectified gave me around 12v dc. I used this to operate a relay connected to a MySensors board. Opto would be just as good, I had a relay ...

Re: Controlicz - Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
Hi mraichura, sorry I didn't have the time to investigate the base status when I lost connectivity, I'm heavily tied up with a house build at the moment. If it happens again I'll have a deeper look rather than just re-running your script. I was thinking about running it a a service as I use Monit to ...

Re: Controlicz - Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
The script bombed out in less than a day for reasons unknown, leaving me unconnected. Ngrok stopped running, not sure about the auto-updater part. I've restarted auto-updater again and it seems to be holding at the moment. Next week I'll have a look to see if I can build it as a service, is the API ...

Re: Controlicz - Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
For those using ngrok (which seems like a really great security option) - there's the issue of ngrok changing dns name on reboot. However, with the idea, help and code of one of the forum users mraichura - there is a neat solution. https://github.com/mayankraichura/ngrok-controlicz-autoupdater You ...

Re: Controlicz - Easy Domoticz to Alexa Integration
+1 with the non responsive issue since this morning. All working around 10:30 last night, nothing working 7:00 this morning. The test from the web site indicates connection is ok. Checking my firewall I can see the call coming in ok. Domoticz fails to switch anything, there are no errors in the ...

Re: Python plugin: ELV/EQ-3 MAX!
As a side note the room numbers are no longer sequential, room 8 is missing and the new room is 10.
No problem with the code - nice one!

Re: Python plugin: ELV/EQ-3 MAX!
Morning mvzut, despite my checking of the cube configuration and it looking 'ok' I still had a gut feel that something was up. So I renamed the Conservatory (room 8) to Old, created a new room and moved the thermostat and radiator valve into it. Then deleted the original room container. I did that ...

Re: Python plugin: ELV/EQ-3 MAX!
Hi guys, while I had some spare time I thought I'd swing over from the older LUA script to the new plugin. I've hit an issue. Error: (EQ-3) 'onHeartbeat' failed 'TypeError':'int() argument must be a string, a bytes-like object or a number, not 'NoneType''. Error: (EQ-3) ----> Line 310 in /opt ...

Looks like you may have a capitalisation issue,
Domoticz responds with 'SwitchLight' you are sending 'switchlight'
May be worth a try...

Re: Zigbee2MQTT
Cheers! The flow above for the cube includes the following, slide = 10 rotate_left = 20 rotate_right = 30 flip90 = 40 flip180 = 50 shake = 60 fall = 70 tap = 80 wakeup = 90 I'm now setting up the code in lua to get the cube to actually do stuff, not convinced wakeup is of any real use as it only ...
