Re: Database backup gets failing RPi after SD-card crash
Thanks for yer opinion Nayr, you obviously got yer own experiences... I'll see what my SanDisk will do for me. I have no clue whatever my hardware issues are, since the rest of it is working well right now. And thanks Robert. Making images is what I'm lazy at so far, as I trusted my backups... After ...

Database backup gets failing RPi after SD-card crash
Gentlemen, About a year ago, I've started using Domoticz on a Raspberry Pi. One of my very first scripts was an automated daily domoticz.db backup ( http://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Daily_backup_to_external_hdd ) on my Synology NAS. I've made some images, but the last one was from May 2015. So when my ...

Re: Aeotec Multisensor 6 Tips & Tricks
@Zoviel: I had this for some time, especially after not rebooting for too long. I don't see it anymore though, at least not any different than in the screenshot shown below. I strongly suggest that, if you didn't do that yet, you put your settings to beta updates (top right 'Setup' - 'Settings ...

Re: Aeotec Multisensor 6 Tips & Tricks
And after an update of Domoticz: try rebooting, twice if necessary. Sometimes the first time won't work for me, but after the second reboot all of my zwave items are recognized and up and running.

Re: Aeotec Multisensor 6 Tips & Tricks
I'm using this particular sensor, USB-powered. All sensors are working fine so far, except for the calibration through Zwave. Got it working from Sept 30th without a flaw. First of all: try the latest beta updates, that partly did the trick for me with the errors. Second: did you include the ...

Re: New Multisensor 6 seems to miss functionality
Oi Flyer, Got 2 questions: - are you using beta updates? (as in: the latest)? - how do you include? Do you only use Domoticz' inclusion button, or do you actually push the button on your zwave-controller? I went wrong there a few times... For maximum functionality you need to include through the ...

Mine is also usb-powered, same results as Holland.
I hope someone is able to help us out here?

Re: New Multisensor 6 seems to miss functionality
Actually, Loyske is exactly describing my problem. Thanks for entering the engineering specs Stimpy, but it won't work here. I tried -21 for -2.1 °C, but I got 255 instead. Same for humidity: I want it to go up some 14% RH but supposedly can't enter this value. I tried 14, +14 and 14RH. Value comes ...

Re: New Multisensor 6 seems to miss functionality
Thanks for your reply, at least I'm not trying to find the vibration sensor anymore... Vibration: The manual is speaking of 'a smart Vibration sensor' that will detect when 'someone attempts to disassemble your Multisensor'. This might be the burglar alarm, but from testing it only seems to turn on ...

New Multisensor 6 seems to miss functionality
Hi all, After including my Aeon labs Multisensor 4 (Gen 5) succesfully some time ago, I found a good reason to get me another one. After checking the Manufacturers Specifics, the new Multisensor 6 from Aeon labs seems supported as well, and since it has 2 more features (vibration and UV) I decided ...

Re: New Aeon Labs Multisensor Gen5 not supported in OpenZwav
Just wondering... How did ye include yer sensor? Because I see your hardware is yer Motherboard, and mine is my Z-Stick. Also I don't recognize the 'burglar' switch...

Re: New Aeon Labs Multisensor Gen5 not supported in OpenZwav
Gentlemen, I got it up and running under (stable) Domoticz version V2.2284. The trick that did it for me was to simply put it in place and get it powered through USB. Only after that and not before, I included it in Domoticz the way I said before: Inclusion of a (new or excluded) node is done by ...

Re: New Aeon Labs Multisensor Gen5 not supported in OpenZwav
It works... but I gotta admit: far from perfect, just like Het-Licht says... Reports only from Temp, Humidity and Lux, and all very random. Best results so far I got from including through the Z-Stick: Reports in Domoticz (1) from Temp, Humidity and Lux on a regular basis, but also pretty fast ...

Re: New Aeon Labs Multisensor Gen5 not supported in OpenZwav
Got it! Simply never used the inclusion button correctly! This is one hell of a brilliant feat. from Domotics to be able to include without using the stick! I couldn't find it anywhere, so for anyone else looking for this: Inclusion of a (new or excluded) node is done by leaving yer Z2 Stick in your ...

Re: New Aeon Labs Multisensor Gen5 not supported in OpenZwav
Thanks, that would be of great help. But I've read some frustrations over here indeed...
(As for the added line in the manufacturer_specific.xml: I did that and rebooted my Pi, which didn't work. Obviously that was before posting my reaction on the topic.)

Re: New Aeon Labs Multisensor Gen5 not supported in OpenZwav
Gentlemen, After thoroughly reading this specific topic, I still can't get to the Configuration as shown by IDavid on the 27th of Feb. Included you can see what I see for Configuration. Since it's impossible to connect with my new Multisensor through the usb-cable, I need to get to any interface ...
