Re: Z-wave usage figures are strange
I get the feeling that the values are rounded off. And that's a shame in my case. The device does provide the expected values. Isn't possible Domoticz is giving more accurate calculations? Thanks anyway for your answer.

Z-wave usage figures are strange
Hi, I'm using Neo coolcam switches by means of zwave js ui (finally!!!). One off these switches I use to monitor my heat pump. That device uses 8 watt per hour and short some watts more. So per day 24 * 10 = 250 Watt. Domoticz reports 500-600 Watt. That seems to me a bug. But perhaps I'm doing ...

Re: Install zwave-js-ui
I have checked, checked, dubble checked the ip-adresses. As far as i can see, they are all correct. I will ask more questions the next days, because i have doubts about the configuration in zwave-js-ui.

Re: Install zwave-js-ui
Reading the instruction better I should find my z-wave devices under devices and not under hardware. As far as I understand I should find them here: afbeelding_2024-02-18_143943400.png Where am I wrong this time? Mind: I made a new installation and no conversion of the old open zwave. I managed to ...

Re: Install zwave-js-ui
Surprise, surprise. It doesnot work again. Using a "spare" raspberry 3b+ I installing Raspbian OS, Domoticz (2024.4) and docker, mosquitto and zwave-js-ui. I was hopefull after the /opt/mosquitto location of the docker-mosquitto.y4ml file. But unfortunately. The end of the story remains an empty ...

Re: zwave-js-ui installation
I have tried the updated instruction where the docker-compose.yml is said to be found in /opt/mosquitto Schermafbeelding 2024-02-09 112219.png As you can see there is no docker-compose.yml file. I did every step from installing raspberrypi/debian, domoticz, docker and mosquitto. I hope someone can ...

zwave-js-ui installation
I have a raspberry 3b, domoticz 2024.4 and for zwave I try to install zwave-js-ui. The z-wave js ui is working. In Domoticz I added mqtt autodiscovery client gateway with lan interface. It took me some time to create the docker-compose.yml file in the /opt/misquitto map. The instruction isn't very ...

Install zwave-js-ui
I am trying to install docker and zwave-js-ui now. Confirm the instruction in "https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Zwave-JS-UI" I have to edit (=change an existing) file "docker-compose.yml". I can't find that file. Should I create that (and where) or should I edit another file? Someone any idea?

Re: Domoticz 2024.1 Can not install Aeotec Z-Wave Plus Z-Stick
I did. But that causes the problem of not seeing devices from a remote domoticz server (a server in the same domain -192.168.1.*).

Re: Domoticz 2024.1 Can not install Aeotec Z-Wave Plus Z-Stick
"If it is not visible in Zwave-JS-UI it will also not be visible in Domoticz with OpenZwave." That's not true, because it was! Until 2024.1.

Re: Return to 2023.2
The instruction "ls /dev/serial/by-id" does not give me the information about my z-wave plus z-stick. So it ended there.
For that reason i'm waiting for a correct instruction about the use off a z-stick on a raspberry 3b. And as far as I can see, I'm not the only one.

Return to 2023.2
Is there a good description for a return from 2024.2/2024.1 to 2023.2? I have to many problems in 2024.1 (Aeotec Stick gen5 and communication with other domoticz servers).

Re: Domoticz 2024.1 Can not install Aeotec Z-Wave Plus Z-Stick
Is it possible to get updates without deprecated Openzwave? It functioned perfect. The alternative is a disaster! The Aeotec z-wave gen 5 is not visible in a raspberry 3b anymore. The documentation does not help.

Switch status in time script
Hello, I am a newbe in lua. I have a time script in which I want to ask the status of a dummy-switch. As a test I tried: if (otherdevices('Alarm_Aan_Uit') == 'On') then print('Aan') else print('Uit') end In the log I find: 2022-09-17 10:28:00.488 Error: EventSystem: in /home/pi/domoticz/scripts/lua ...

@ asonneveld
I tried next solution:
current = tonumber(otherdevices['Lichtsterkte'])
print(current)
the result:
39
Wow it works! Thanks a lot!
