I'm trying to apply this Wiki chapter : http://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Setting_up_Device_sharing I've configured a slave, with opened port 6144. It run version V 3.8266 on Raspberry Pi Associated with user/password, I've selected many devices ( Zwave sensors, Dummy devices, P1 Smartmeter, and so on ...

You can do that using a ssh tunnel : it can use a certificate, and it's transparent for applications
