Re: problem with updating the reported state of a dimmer device via MQTT
Thanks - I don't /think/ that is the issue (though I could be wrong)
Through MQTT explorer, I can see that the status of the device is being updated - but this status is not being picked up by Domoticz for some reason

problem with updating the reported state of a dimmer device via MQTT
Hi, This may not be a bug, so I didn't want to put it into that forum....though it could be one. I have a strange MQTT problem: I have a wifi dimmer running Tasmota v10 Having enabled autodiscovery in the tasmota code, it is autoDiscovered by Domoticz fine, appearing as a switch with a dimmer slider ...

Re: [90] MQTT Support
Evening, I have a strange MQTT problem: I have a wifi dimmer running Tasmota It is autoDiscovered by Domoticz fine, appearing as a switch with a dimmer slider. From the domoticz UI, I can set the brightness level, and the dimmer responds. In response, the Domoticz UI updates to match reality ...

Re: openUrl timeout?
Ah - found the problem I think:
It wasn't timing out, but the call returned no data - which was interpreted by domoticz as an error.
I've added a response to the call, and it seems fine now

Re: openUrl timeout?
Thanks - I will try that - though 90 seconds should in fact be long enough!

openUrl timeout?
Apologies if this is a RTFM query - but I can't seem to find the answer!
I am using openURL in a dzVents script to call a url. It takes 25 seconds to return, which is expected - but by this point the request has generally timed out at domoticz.
Is the timeout configurable?
Cheers!

Re: Temperature and humidty from a TH10
Ah - that may be the issue:
Of the two MQTT plugins I found, one supports dimmers but not sensors, one supports sensors but not dimmers
I'll take another look tonight!

Temperature and humidty from a TH10
I have a sonoff TH10 running tasmota
It measures temperature and humidity, and is set up to talk to my local MQTT broker
Domoticz automatically discovers it as a switch, but so far I have been unable to get the temperature and humidity values into the system....
Any ideas?

Drayton wiser sensors
Hi, I have a set of Draytin Wiser smart TRVs They are seen by Domoticz using the wiser plugin for Domoticz Each TRV appears as two devices - a thermostat with a set point, and a temperature sensor Under "utilities" I can see each thermostat, with an "actual" and a "set" tewmperature - and these two ...

Re: Smart heating, google integration, and multiple temperaure values
Thanks - I wasn't sure if this was a controlicz or a domoticz issue, since I wasn't sure where the logic sat However, I did have a reply from the Controlicz developer: " currently there are no temp sensors in Google, so in order to query a sensor, it has to be treated as a thermostat (which is your ...

Smart heating, google integration, and multiple temperaure values
Evening I have a Drayton Wiser heating system working well with Domotics, thanks to this: https://github.com/bloob00k/domoticz Each room therefore gives me two devices - a temperature sensor with an actual reading, and a thermostat with a setpoint. (the thermostat does have an "Actual" and a ...

FA22RF smoke alram and RFLink?
Hi
I have a pair of FA22RF smoke alarms
I can see that the FA21RF is supported by RFLink, but no mention of FA22RF
This may mean that it uses a different protocol and so will not work with RFLink...but I wondered if anyone here knew for sure?
Cheers!
