Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
Ah yes, my system needed a restart and now, even if i fill in my id with the url provided on https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Netatmo i now get a blank page with nothing. remember that it's normal that the page comes up with nothing - the password you need is in the address bar. It's also quite slow ...

Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
Indeed, i also have the problem when i restart domoticz, then i need to fill out the url again with my usercode and then copy paste the code in the hardware section and then it runs for a while. Stupid netattamo. Confirmed. After I managed to get it running for a almost 2 days I needed to restart ...

Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
Has anybody been able to sort this out? I've tried multiple times - also created a new profile on the Netatmo side - doesn't update more that a couple of times before it fails again...

Impossible humidity measurements using DHT22 and similar sensors
I am running a luthier's workshop where maintaining a solid 45% humidity is crucial. I've been battling with setting up Domoticz for this purpose for months now, and i'm still finding lots of issues. I run both a Humidifier and dehumidifier both connected as switches - no issues there, but having ...

Re: Will an RFXCOM LAN work together with a serial port version
Thanks for your reply. so for SOMFY, I guess it's got to be on one or the other - and that would be because the devices are added manually. However if I am to add a new device using the discover function will that be bound to whichever RFXCOM device detects it first, or will a single device work on ...

Will an RFXCOM LAN work together with a serial port version
The latest update to Domoticz broke my system (old PI) and forced me to reconsider how I am implementing my system. I've decided to retire my Pi and at the moment, i've installed the Windows version on an always-on windows server I am using for my cam system. For years I've just about got by with ...

Re: Do RF devices degrade over time?
No real control over this : The problem is directly between the remote and the receivers. As for RFXCOM, I had at some point down the line upgraded the Antenna but the main issue I have is between the devices directly.

Re: Do RF devices degrade over time?
As an electronics engineer by trade I would say battery devices no (or very unlikley) but mains powered ones is a definite yes. Cheap and cheerfull mains powered devices use a very simple method of generating the low voltage required by the electronics and these parts definitely degrade over time ...

Re: Do RF devices degrade over time?
It could be (and that's what I think is most likely the cause of the problem) is some interfering device, but I have no idea how to go about it. First, I can't go and ask all my neighbours on their devices and secondly even if I find the source of the issue, I can't ask them to stop using whatever ...

Do RF devices degrade over time?
This might not be related to Domoticz but rather a general issue I am having with many RF devices I have installed in the past 5 years. In general, I'm using Domoticz and an RFXCOM to control a number of switch receivers - mainly Intertechno / Trust 433 devices, and Somfy RTS blinds. Most are ...

Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
Great that it's moving. I had some dzvents scripts that used to work before but I just can't get anything to work anymore. Tried following the new examples but no luck.

Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
Has anybody worked out a solution to the Netatmo authentication issue ? I was relying on my netatmo wind, rain, temp sensors for a number of automated tasks and i've lost all that up until i'm able to reconnect.

MQTT Temp+Hum sent to Domoticz. Values logged but current values not displayed
I wonder if anybody can help me: I am testing a WEMOS D1 with MQTT to send some temperature + humidity values into Domoticz. I am able to send the values and they are being received and logged into Domoticz, but Domoticz is not displaying the current values in the dashboard and temperature screens ...

Re: Total count for past x days
Hi, thank you very much for link. I have successfully modified the script to calculate the total rain for the past 7 days, which is then stored in a dz variable. I use this value to control how much water I supply to my young trees. I am not sure how effective it is but the trees are looking healthy ...

Total count for past x days
Hello everybody, I am trying to build a DZVents script that will activate my watering system. I'd like to be able to calculate the total rain for the past x days and then determine the watering needs based on that. Is it possible to return the total value of a counter (or rain meter) for the past x ...

Re: Moisture % XT300 keeps rising
Hi All, curious issue with the XT300 : I purchased one unit over a year ago which i found to be really good. Placed it outside and it worked consistently well throughout the year, through the hot months and cold months, so i just purchased an additional 3 units (with one to spare in case one gets ...

Re: Netatmo Rain Meter 24 hours vs daily values
OK so this is driving me a bit nuts. After various unsuccessful attempts I tried the following test script, triggering every minute, to simulate 1mm of rain every minute into the counter: dz.devices(2344).updateRain(1*100, dz.devices(2344).rain + 1) (where 2344 is a virtual Rain Counter) The first ...
