As of this morning after yet another attempt to enter the credentials and resetting the token at dev.netatmo things seem to be working again and stay working now for over 8 hours now. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
Same here. Stopped working just before our vacation on 3 june.
After resetting the token it worked for about 1 hour, and than stopped again.
Time out set to 5 minutes like said in the wiki. Did not change that, because it worked for 6 months without any errors.

My longest up-time was from 15.08u till 23.11u on jun 12. That 's a little bit more then 8 hours. But at 23.11u Domoticz ended with working with Netatmo! Then i must create a new password conform the procedure. Time for an update of Domoticz or a script!

The problem does seem to be at netatmo and not within domoticz so a chance to domoticz will not fix the problem.gizmocuz wrote: ↑Friday 14 June 2024 10:12Please make a PR with the needed changes.

Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
Has anybody been able to sort this out? I've tried multiple times - also created a new profile on the Netatmo side - doesn't update more that a couple of times before it fails again...

It is working for me now since yesterday, after I removed the Time out of 5 minutes (and created a new password).

Seems to have stabilized now for me. Over 24 hours without it stopping. Keeping fingers crossed.

Hi,
Feedback:
following as previously the procedure written here:https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Netatmo
- first try as usual username = <client_id>:<client_secret> + password ... works only a few hours (<3)
- then second try,
it works since june 17.
domoticz has not been restarted, only using domoticz UI.

Indeed, i also have the problem when i restart domoticz, then i need to fill out the url again with my usercode and then copy paste the code in the hardware section and then it runs for a while. Stupid netattamo.

Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
Confirmed. After I managed to get it running for a almost 2 days I needed to restart domoticz due to a configuration change and it stopped working again - I had to go through the API reset process

Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
remember that it's normal that the page comes up with nothing - the password you need is in the address bar. It's also quite slow to load.Thuis wrote: ↑Sunday 23 June 2024 12:48 Ah yes, my system needed a restart and now, even if i fill in my id with the url provided on https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Netatmo i now get a blank page with nothing.

Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
I know it is in the addressbar, however now the addressbar does not change, it does not lead me to the page where i have to accept permission, nor does it do anything. Before i done this several times but now it just sits there at a blank page without the addressbar url changing.

Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
ok so i waited a while, and just now, i did the same thing, now no blank page, but i get the "yes, i accept" button, then the code in the address bar. So i think there is a waiting time, specially for me, to get a new token. Im sure if i restart domoticz now, then netatmo fails, and i have to wait again 12 hours before i can use the link from the wiki to get a new code. But i am a bit of a crazy person, so probably it is only just me and my computer.

Re: Netatmo authentication changes Oct 2022
Hi,
sorry for you,
May I kindly ask you to follow the procedure - see my post above (june 20), It works perfectly
However each time domoticz is restarted .. it must be done
one tip: do not change the scope in the URL used to generarate the code aka the password, otherwise it will not work, this is my experience.
regards
