Ineffective settings of domoticz.conf on Fedora 32
I would like to make it use Let's Encrypt generated certificate. I've seen some guides instructing to copy contents of both fullcert.pem and privkey.pem to /var/lib/domoticz/domoticz.pem, which is being referenced by the domoticz.service. Other referenced variables use environment values defined in ...

Domoticz looks for config files in wrong paths
Hi, I have installed Domoticz from Fedora's repository. Version: domoticz-4.9700-1.fc28.src.rpm. It works for some months, but not everything works as it should. Some problems are shown by log file: 1. I don't know why it wants to read configuration from /usr/bin/Config/ instead of /usr/share ...

Plugin System stopped working out of nothing
Hi, I run Domoticz on Fedora 28 x64. I believe that after installation some months ago Plugin System was working as there was Configuration->More Options->Plugins in menu. Unfortunately now, when I would like to make use of plugins, the options is missing and furthermore in the log file there is no ...

Re: All nodes lost manufacturer and product ID
I've removed the nodes 20-26 following advice from Aeotec support http://docs.incontrolha.com/home/remove-a-failed-device . I've used Zensys Tools to do this. I've had to stop domoticz service, disconnect Z-Stick from my Linux server and connect it to PC running Windows and then started Zensys Tools ...

How to control thermostats in scenes
When I edit new scene I can add all nodes (switches, dimmers, door sensors), but no thermostats. How can I make a scene, which will control thermostats' setpoints? For example "Away" scene, which would set all the thermostats' setpoints to one, low value? At the moment I can only set plans for the ...

Re: All nodes lost manufacturer and product ID
I've stopped domoticz service once again, disconnected Z-Stick, deleted /usr/share/domoticz/ozwcache_<HomeID>.xml, reconnected Z-Stick and started service. IDs reappeared with one exception. Node I have a problem with - one of door sensors (018) - it does not exclude, include neither performs ...

Re: All nodes lost manufacturer and product ID
The issue persists, although thermostats and one of door sensors have now shown their IDs. What helped a bit was stopping domoticz service, disconnecting Z-Stick, reconnecting it back and starting domoticz service. All the time domoticz is controlling all thermostats and light switches and dimmers ...

All nodes lost manufacturer and product ID
What may causing all nodes have lost Manufacturer ID, Product types and names? All my nodes with exception of the Aeotec Z-Stick Gen 5 controller lost these details (as shown in screenshot). Single node is shown in OZW control panel. I'm not sure when exactly this started. One thing that pop to my ...

Re: zwcfg xml file missing
Thank you jvdz!
Domoticz service's owner was user domoticz, but whole the folder was owned by root, so I recursively changed owner of the folder:
chown -R domoticz:domoticz /usr/share/domoticz
Success: OZW_log.txt file appeared and ozwcache_0xHEX.xml.

Re: zwcfg xml file missing
I've checked domoticz installation folder and it's subfolders recursively down and there is no zwcfg file. Restarting of the service doesn't help.

Failed to open file options.xml
In /var/log/messages log Domoticz placed messages saying there is a problem with opening options.xml file and OZW log file. Surprisingly it fails to open options.xml file. I've installed Domoticz package using Fedora's 28 x64 DNF. What is causing the problem and how to fix it? Error, Cannot find a ...

Re: Do nodes act as repeaters by themselves or need to be configured for this?
Thank you kimhav for you reply. How can I delete previous occurrences of a node, which later was included with a new ID? In the screenshot above nodes 20-25 are such an old occurrences of the node 26. The node was factory reset and re-included. Unfortunately each time it the node stayed with old ID ...

zwcfg xml file missing
Correct me if I am wrong, but there should be /usr/share/domoticz/Config/zwcfg_*.xml file storing my system nodes' configuration. For a reason unknown to me it is not there. System works for a few weeks. During the time domoticz service was restarted a few times. Shouldn't the missing zwcfg_*.xml ...

Re: How to add support for a new Z-Wave device
I was looking for a zwcfg*.xml file in /usr/share/domoticz and it's subfolders, but there was no such a file. OpenZWave manual for testing added device says (among others): "remove (or backup) any zwcfg_*.xml file and restart your application." Which file I should remove in case of Domoticz?

Re: How to add support for a new Z-Wave device
Node 18, which stopped sending door open report two weeks ago, has controller added to it's Lifeline (1) group. Yesterday I have set it's location using OZW Control Panel. It was set immediately and "last seen" date and time were update to this very moment. I've repeated this today to see if "last ...

Dynamic (sleeping) or dead?
I am wondering if a node which: - was last seen 13 days ago, - is set to 24h wakeup interval, - for which OZW reports "dynamic (sleeping)" status, - wasn't moved, - for which controller has direct route, - for which heal doesn't work, - which has still good battery, - was triggered many times, yet ...

For nodes 15 and 16 only. I've read it is advised to avoid polling when only it is possible.

Re: Do nodes act as repeaters by themselves or need to be configured for this?
In my case it looks like this. Node ID 28 is a newly added light switch. Nodes 18 and 26 are door locks. Node 18 was last time seen on 30.09. Before that time it worked and I got configured notification. Unfortunately it stopped for a reason unknown to me. Nodes 20-25 are previous instances of the ...
