Re: Python plugin: WiZ Connected
Hi, I bought one of these lamps at AH for testing. I got it working with the official iPhone app, so it connects to wifi now. I was also able install the plugin in Domoticz and to select "Wiz Connect" type in the HW in the menu. There I configured the correct subnet. Then it created a (lamp) device ...

Meaning of “User” column in device log?
Hi, I am unclear about why some devices show different users in the device log. Attached example shows 3 different users in the log, while this device is a PIR and is only (!) used bij one Blockly script. My questions are: - what info does the “User” field actually reflect? - how can it be that it re ...

Re: Temperature sensor to measure central heating (CV leidingen)
Were you able to get it working yet?
I have a similar sensor (TFA 30.3133) and have the following protocols enables for my RFXCOM transceiver.
One of the enabled protocols should allow you to detect/add the sensor.

Re: Kodi Mediaserver Support
I confirm something is weird (at least to my understanding) about Kodi-triggered events support in Domoticz. Here are the Kodi events as shown in the Domoticz Log page for various Kodi actions: Kodi is starting: 2017-11-19 01:44:45.540 Kodi: (mykodi) Connected to 'kodi.example.lan:9090'. 2017-11-19 ...

Re: Smartwares introduces 433 thermostat valve
If it isn't getting warmer than 26-27°C in that cabinet you could just set them to 28 when you want them open and on 4 if you want them closed. Understood. But in my case I would want to be able to set it to half open, or 1/3 or 3/4, regardless of what temp the thermostat measures. I guess setting ...

Re: Smartwares introduces 433 thermostat valve
Would it be possible to reasonably control the thermostat valve using an external temp sensor via Domoticz? Scenario I'm facing: I would want to use the thermostat valve for my floor heating in the living room. (Officially called "naregeling vloerverwarming"). As the heating unit itself is in a ...

Differences using LUA script in webinterface vs flat file
Hi, I have several LUA scripts running as files in the .../domoticz/scripts/ directory. I also have one LUA script that I inserted via the web interface. All works fine and in parallel. The only difference I see is that scripts added to the .../domoticz/scripts/ directory are not visible in the web ...

Re: Temperature sensor to measure central heating (CV leidingen)
Have a link or name of the product I can search for?
I need it to have one of these external connectors so that I can attach the sensor to the Central Heating system pipes, and it needs to talk to RFXCOM.

Temperature sensor to measure central heating (CV leidingen)
Hi. I am looking for a temperature sensor, supported by RFXCOM, which I can use to measure the temperature of the water in my central heating (CV-leidingen). Can anyone recommend a sensor for this? I have found the following device, but reviews on whether it works in Domoticz or not, seem ...

Re: 1Byone Doorbell (type O00QH-0013)
I also bought the same Byone / Select Plus doorbell and I can let the (alarm) bell go off using domoticz. Now I would also like to use the doorbell button in domoticz to set one of my virtual switches, but cannot get it working. Looked into this forum, but can't find the answer. The doorbell button ...

Re: Texas Instrument SensorTag (BLE 4.0)
Hi,
Any further developments on this?
Is it indeed confirmed that you cannot wake-up the device using Domoticz / BLE when in sleep mode?
Would be a pitty, as the device is outstanding it the amount of sensors it has on board and the price is not bad either.
Looking forward to any feedback.

Yep, I did. thanks.
Also looked into the coding myself a bit more and indeed only conclusion is that a switch can be addressed by idx or name.

Re: Is it gonna rain within the next X minutes?
Ok. I have that as well as an extra switch, but as I mentioned I also set the idx number "idxRegenmmUur" value to the same on/off switch, which I guess cannot be correct. I will now change that back to the text switch, hoping that both switches will now work; One switching On/Off when it Rains/Dry ...

Re: Is it gonna rain within the next X minutes?
Lua script "IsItGonnaRain" (30-08-2016 v1.2) works nicely for me. Now, the script 'fills' a text-switch with the text like for example "Geen regen verwacht binnen komende 5 minuten" What I would prefer is to create an additional ON/OFF switch that simply switches ON when rain is expected (like in ...
