Re: db Restore won't work
I did use the standard installation script but I think the backup of the db had not the nessesairy rights for some reason. Anyway after directly overwirte the db with the backup and then chmod it to the same rights as it was did work.

db Restore won't work
Due to the need of SSL 3 I've updated my RPi2b to the latest Bookworm lite and installed a fresh Domoticz. Now I want to restore my backupped database but this seems not to work. The thing is using the restore functionallity of domoticz itself I dont get an error or something but after getting the ...

Re: Domoticz upcoming beta/release and OpenSSL 3.0
Please note that I'm no programmer and only have basic skills regarding this. So the page from the link on the first post here does look far from easy for me.
I thought that the RPi 2b had an ARM processor that only support a Debian version that was to old to work with Domoticz. But looking at your ...

Re: Domoticz upcoming beta/release and OpenSSL 3.0
I accidentally pressed update and due to the missing openssl 3 the update failed but now Domoticz won't start anymore.
I'm using a Raspberry Pi 2 model b and if I'm right this isn't able to ruin the required Debian version which includes openssl 3. Is that correct?
If so, is it possible to revert ...

Influxdb error
Recently my sd card probably died. I managed to get things up and running again on a fresh sd card but only influxdb gives problems.
The domoticz log gives a lot of error lines like below.
Error: InfluxLink: Error sending data to InfluxDB server! (check address/port/database/username/password ...

What does "send to MQTT" do?
I was playing around with some MQTT and tried to find out what the "Sendo to MQTT" option does but to me it looks like it doesn't do anything? Can someone explain?

Re: Devices: mass set used/unused or option for MQTT Discovery auto-used
Maybe it it possible to combine this suggestion with the possibility to add devices in mass to a certain room plan also. See here for the full suggestion.

Improve add/remove to room plan
When for example autodiscovery adds a lot of devices I have to add them all one by one to the room plan. It would improve and save a lot of clicks when it is possible to at least be able to select several devices and add all selected to the room plan.
Or maybe it would be an even better improvement ...

Re: Integration of Bambu Labs X1C printer
I also made a succesfull connection using MQTT explorer by using
TLS on
IP adress of your X1 printer
Port 8883 with
Username "bblp"
Password is the LAN access code that can be found on the printer under "Settings" and then the "general" tab

But how do you make a connection then?waltervl wrote: Monday 04 March 2024 0:30 If the printer communicates with Matt you could try the mqttmapper plugin https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=293922

Make it possible to add devices to a room in the devices list
For now it's only possible to add devices to a certain room in the room plan. The main disadvantage is that it's not possible to add multiple devices at once and also it's not possible to add inactive devices.
It would be nice if you can select multiple devices in the devices overview and then add ...
