db Restore won't work

Due to the need of SSL 3 I've updated my RPi2b to the latest Bookworm lite and installed a fresh Domoticz. Now I want to restore my backupped database but this seems not to work. The thing is using the restore functionallity of domoticz itself I dont get an error or something but after getting the dashboard showing up again, noting is updated so I still have the empty database.
When I place the backupped database directly in the right folder and restart the Pi then I get an 505 error. Is there something I need to do to update the database to the new version of domoticz or something?

found it already, it sems I had to chmod the db to get access.

That seems strange, did you install the new Domoticz with the standard installation script? As that would set the correct permissions on the db file.

I did use the standard installation script but I think the backup of the db had not the nessesairy rights for some reason. Anyway after directly overwirte the db with the backup and then chmod it to the same rights as it was did work.

You did not use the restore database function from menu Setup - settings?

I did at first (several times) but after that nothing happened (while it did return to the dashboard).
