You only rebooted? As rebooting did not help on my RPi
It still cannot see any devices.

Re: Zwave devices have disappeared
I have exactly the same problem since the end of December (message in log also says: OpenZWave: Received timeout notification from HomeID xxxx ).
I have an RP2 with a Razberry. I tried reinstalling the OS and Domoticz without success. Also putting back a backup didn't solve the problem

Re: update OpenZWave version
I received an answer. The xml files are updated with newer openzwave versions, and these files are then included in Domoticz. I checked with my domoticz beta version and the xml files are the same as the most recent github repository

Re: Linux noob needs a little help
I would use a grep -i "search text" /var/log/domoticz.log
With the -i it searches case insensitive

update OpenZWave version
I noticed on my Domoticz (3.5838) it is using OpenZwave 1.4 and that on the OpenZwave project page that 1.5 has been released some time ago. Can OpenZwave be updated seperately by downloading the OpenZwave installation binaries and installing them? Or will I break my Domoticz installation?

razberry and TKB TZ68
My TZ68 and Domoticz on a raspberry pi with a Razberry z-wave controller almost daily loose their connection to each other. I tried healing but this does not fix this. After a reboot of the raspberry pi they can see each other again. First I thought the distance was to far, so I moved the raspberry ...

Did you ever find out on how to upgrade it using the standard Domoticz installation?
