How to upgrade Razberry board?

Post by tcviper »

Ive noticed my razberry add on board is running 1.3.x version still and saw there is a new version 2.0 out. How can you upgrade the razberry firmware to 2.0 exactly? I have tried searching everywhere but couldnt find any way to do this.

Did you ever find out on how to upgrade it using the standard Domoticz installation?

I have not tried it, but I think you should do the operation with a separate SD card. So you can maintain your Domoticz installation. The firmware update can only be done from the Expert UI in the Z-way software. On the Razberry website you can find a complete SD image and further instructions.

Personal advise don't upgrade if everything works fine and make backups before you will perform the upgrade. I expect the firmware alone will not break anything, on the z-wave.me forum some people do complain.
