Pushover
Hi There,
Has anyone used Pushover? I set this all up but it asks for a username and the only one I have is an email address. When you try and put that in using Domoticz it changes the @ to %40 and thus it does not seem to function.
What username do I need and how do I get it entered?
Trevor

Re: Pushover
You have to login at the website pushover.com.
There you'll find your User Key ( User ID field in Domoticz).
You have to Register an Application on the pushover website. That will give you an API Token/Key (API Key field in Domoticz)
When you fill in both fields with the values you now have, you can start receiving notifications.

Ah, Many thanks. I get it now. Seems to be working okay. If I can just fix it up so that the new version Domoticz boots on start again all will be well

Problem with Pushover configuration
Hi,
I'm having trouble with configuring Pushover with Domoticz on my Raspberry Pi2B. I registered Domoticz as an app, then I filled in my user key en API token on the settings page. But if I push the Test button, in a red box the following message is displayed: Problem sending notification, please check the api key!
Anyone any suggestion?
Pushing notification from my desktop to my Pushover android client works just fine.

Re: Pushover
May be you have a white space before or after the api key?

Re: Pushover
@jannl: thanks for your suggestion, but no, no leading or trailing spaces (I doublechecked).
See attached screenshot of the Domoticz Pushover configuration errormessage.

Re: Pushover
Not sure if for testing 'actief' must be checked.

Re: Pushover
I got this message also at first setup.
After saving settings and go back to testing, it worked for me.

Re: Pushover
Hello!
I got this working now as well, and wonder how I can now send a push notification from LUA. Is there a 'SEND PUSHOVER' command?
