Zigate/zigbee heal function?

Post by tjabas »

Hi!

i have some problems with my zigate, sometimes when i make a restart of Domoticz i notice that not all of my zigbee devices will connect, i have looked around alot on the web and this forum without any solutions, i have also tried different zigbee channels with no luck, it seems like for every reboot of the rpi i do i loose some nodes/devices in domoticz, the solution is to re pair the lost devices, that is not what i want to do, it takes some time to do it.
I also wonder if there is a heal function in the zigate plugin, like the one that z-wave uses?

Not aware of any heal function with Zigate or Zigate plugin but you should investigate the reason and root cause of devices loss...

From my experience, it's better to set a fixed channel.
Did you experience some changes in the channel used by Zigate upon DZ reboot ?

Very strange .

(1) What is the firmware you are running on Zigate ? Firmware 3.0e has such issue, which is loosing devices after reboot
(2) After a reboot what does the logs said ? Maybe you are facing a configuration issue (like access right or something like that)

If nothing in the log, and if you are able to pair other devices than this one, I beleive that is more that the Switch doesn't go in pairing mode.
