Hello,

Now I'ld like to set light color. This can be done by json script. But if I try it from OS I get this response:
Code: Select all
d:\curl\src>curl -S -i -H "Accept: application/json" "http://192.168.1.38:8080/json.htm?type=command¶m=setcolbrightnessvalue&idx=12&hue=38&brightness=83&ishite=false"
curl: (7) Failed to connect to 192.168.1.38 port 8080: Connection refused
d:\curl\src>curl -S -i -H "Accept: application/json" "http://192.168.1.38:9898/json.htm?type=command¶m=setcolbrightnessvalue&idx=12&hue=38&brightness=83&ishite=false"
curl: (7) Failed to connect to 192.168.1.38 port 9898: Connection refused
Why I get this error? IP adress is OK. (I've tried two ports)

Hi,
I just got a couple of Honeywell Smoke Detectors in the mail. They where super easy to add to Domoticz! But I have a problem. I can't trigger the alarm sound from Domoticz. Is it even possible to do this? My plan was to link them together to make them turn on the alarm if any of them detect smoke and I wanted to use them as "sirens" in my home alarm.
Is this a dead end?

all sensors, switches, and plugs are working fine, but the gateway itself is not. i can't control the RGB, alarm, and the lux meter isn't updating..

I had the same problem when I plugged in the gateway the first time and added it in domoticz. I think I restarted both the gateway and domoticz and it started to work.

DIM the white LED to any level of the Xiaomi Gateway is that possible? Any other colour I am able to DIM to the level I want, except White.
Hi, I am having the same issue.
Anyone was able to solve this?
I am using my Gateway with motion sensors as nightlight and I realy need to change the DIM level to custom values.
The original Mi Home is able to change level of white light and even can do fluent light up. I mean it seamlessly increases the brightness level to desired value in short time period and thats really cool effect. I have tryed to do that in domoticz python script but domoticz cannot change the brightness as fluently as the gateway itself.
Hi guys,
I apologize for repeating my question but I was unable to find the answer.
Is this an issue in the gateway plugin or hardware limitation that I can not change the brightness of the white light?
The plugin for yeelight bulb can do this...
Thanks
Happy New Year everybody!
Is there any chance I will got an answer to my question?
Thank you

Hi,
I have the same question.
I would like to implement the Smoke Detectors in the alarm system.
But turning the Detector "on" doesn't have an effect.
Anybody who got this working?
Thank you very much in advance

I'm not sure I understand the question? If you would like to change the light in the gateway it self you can do this in the RGB dimmer switch in domoticz. Both colour and brightness.

Thank You for your reaction
I know I can change the color and brightness of the Gateway via RGB dimmer switch. But if I try to set the white color via RGB dimmer and change brightness of the white color then I have not succed. White color can only be set by On or Off buttons.
I had no luck using JSON API commands
https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Domoticz_ ... brightness
But for the Yeelight bulb both methods are working fine for the white color.

Maybe it's already mentioned before, but I couldn't find it:
I have this Aqara switch:
And it shows me only a "Click" and a "Double Click". I added a "Long Click", but that doesn't work.
Is the Long Click not possible or do I have to add it a different way?
(I'm using the latest firmware for the gateway by the way)

Hi,
as far as I know, the Aqara version does not support Long Click.
Only the previous version supports that.

Maybe I've taken a wrong turn somewhere, but I'm playing with the custom sounds of the Gateway, but I can't seem to play it using Domoticz.
I added a custom sound and I think it might me 10001. In the past I played with these sounds too, so it could easily be 10005 or something. So I added the slider and tested all sounds through 10009: nothing.
Should I add some extra choices to the "Xiaomi Gateway Doorbell" switch? It then reads values 50,60,etc. So that's not what I'm looking for, right?
What am I forgetting?

Hello,
There is an uservariabele, when you changed it to 10003 pr higher, that sound Will be played
Take a look at the wiki page:

As I mentioned, I tried 10001 - 10009, nothing to hear. Do I have to add something somewhere?
Code: Select all
2018-01-06 22:16:13.831 LUA: Xiaomi Gateway will play sound stored on bank 10003
2018-01-06 22:16:13.832 EventSystem: Script event triggered: Xiaomimp3
2018-01-06 22:16:14.033 (Xiaomi GW) Light/Switch (Xiaomi Gateway MP3)
Nothing....
Edit:
10019 did the trick.....didn't realise that I added s much sounds in the past
