Adding Nest Thermostat

Post by robpijpers »

I'm new to Domoticz and are playing around to get some knowledge how Domoticz is working, So far I am very impressed.
I'm reading on various sites that is possible to add a Nest thermostat but I can't find a way to properly do this step by step.
Can anyone help me?

Thanks, Rob

Go to the Hardware section and select "Nest Thermostat/Protect" from the "type" field. Give it a name and put in your Nest username/password. The Nest then appears in the devices section to be added.

After adding the Nest as new hardware you can do a lot of things without any scripting. So to answer your question, yes it is fully compatible.
