Remember that an iPhone switches off wifi most of the time the screen is off!!rgroothuis wrote:Another question I'm having on this subject is how to use this pinging information (if it works) in the LUA scripts? Any examples?
I found the device I'm pinging in my device list but I cannot add it to my switches dashboard, is this correct? And because of that I also cannot see the pinging result history, so I cannot tell if my iPhone is ping-ed correctly.

You should be able to add it to your switches dashboard and use it in LUA as you would use a normal switch.rgroothuis wrote:Another question I'm having on this subject is how to use this pinging information (if it works) in the LUA scripts? Any examples?

I am going to find out how to do this and if it's possible. Will let you know!StanHD wrote:I have disabled IPv6 on my router for my LAN (not WAN) as this gave me other problems. May be worth a try?

Strangely enough if I click on the green arrow button nothing is happening. Strange. Any idea's? I've not (yet) rebooted Domoticz, is that required?

I guess it has to do with your Name with the apostrophe. Try removing it, it could be interfering with apostrophes used in the code of Domoticz.
