Re: domoticz in synology as package! Available now.
Workaround to password Found: it is "simply" needed to create a password within configuration panel/switch & lamp protect.
I never entered any password, but it seems one came with last update... I hope we will not have to re-initiate it after each update.

Is it possible to only receive stable updates (Syno package center)? I now receive every beta update (almost daily).

Re: domoticz in synology as package! Available now.
Is it possible to make an update to the package?
gizmocuz has tested some new scripts today for my Thermosmart thermostat. Pausing and unpausing is now working and it is now possible to add an external sensor to update the outside temperature with a sensor within domoticz. He tested it on his raspberry pi, but I have a Synology NAS so I would like to see if it also works foor me.
Thanks in advance!

Or should I wait?

I only know it is version 2.0.3724-7 (which I can see in DSM). Is it possible to see in DSM which arch this is?

I think XPenology using arch-bromolow.rednas wrote:I only know it is version 2.0.3724-7 (which I can see in DSM). Is it possible to see in DSM which arch this is?
I will update that arch for you later tonight to V2.0.3771-7.

Re: domoticz in synology as package! Available now.
Hi,
What is the best way to move domoticz installed on a Raspberry PI2 with Aeon Z-wave USB and RFXcom to my DS412+ ?
Can i just use backup/restore, and will my Z-wave and RFXcom be found on the DS412+, without having to reconfigure everything again ?
Thanks
Steven

Re: domoticz in synology as package! Available now.
Hi,
I just installed the latest Domoticz package on my DS214 with no problem.
I plugged an Enocean USB Key in the front USB plug, checked that it is recognized by the NAS with the "dmesg | grep tty" command which sees it under /dev/ttyUSB0
I added it in the hardware panel as EnOcean USB (ESP3) with Serial Port = /dev/ttyUSB0 (already filled in correctly by Domoticz)
I then pressed the learn button of my Nodor Door Sensor, I see the receiver led flash on the USB Key but no device is created in the Device panel and nothing shows in Domoticz log file... I also tried to activate the door switch after pressing the "Learn light/switch" in the Switches panel, I see the USB key led flash but still nothing in Domoticz.
Any idea ?
Thanks !
Karl

I 'm not familiar with EnOcean, but have you read:hal9001 wrote:Hi,

Re: domoticz in synology as package! Available n
Hey Jumbotroll, first of all great work!
I have been using it for quite some time now and it works great!
One thing i am realy eager to experiment with is the possibility for Homekit integration. It is already done with Domoticz (https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Homekit_Siri) is this something that can be incorporated to the package or is there an other solution for this?
Thanks in advance!

This may be relatively much work. I must then cross compile Homekit for all the different Synology NAS (archs) and implement it when I compile domoticz , but I will see how much work it is , before I dismiss itcwvs wrote:Hey Jumbotroll, first of all great work!

Re: domoticz in synology as package! Available now.
Partially solved!
After a re-boot of my Synology, both the Multisensor and the PIR were added.
After another boot, the Multisensor was available in the devices. Great!
The PIR is "asleep"... and that seems to be a common problem with this brand.I am running the v2.3815 package on my DS214+ and am having issues with adding z-wave stuff.
The front USB port is used to connect a "Aeotec Z-Stick Gen 5Z" controller.
A Greenwave Powernode is recognized without any problems
I tried adding a "Vision ZP3102 EU PIR Motion Sensor", and it showed up, but was always "asleep". It didn't seem to see any motions...
My "Aeotec Multisensor 6" is not found at all... <= SOLVED AFTER 2 RE-BOOTS
I installed Domoticz on my Windows 10 system (v2.3799), installed drivers for controller and within a few seconds all z-wave stuff was recognized!
The controller, the powernode, the Vision PIR (without desvription of the switched) and the Multi sensor with description of the different sensors.
