I have been using the dynamic dashboard for some weeks without problem but this morning I was not able to login to Domoticz from remote ip anymore. After loading the dynamic dashboard Domoticz immediately got back to the login page again.
I tried different devices, different browsers, deleting cookies and even restarting Domoticz but nothing helped.
In the end I could access the UI from a trusted local network and was able to set the dashboard back to 'Favorites' again. After that the remote login problem was gone.
Any idea what could be the cause of this problem?
My Domoticz is version 2026.2, build hash f3afb08ad.

Re: Dynamic dashboard seems to cause repeating login
I have the same problem when I try to use the dashboard dynamic view of showing a login screen. I have made local network settings and don't have this problem with dashboard favorites view.
Using beta v2026.3 (build 18324)

Re: Dynamic dashboard seems to cause repeating login
If you use the Google Calendar or RSS widget then this is caused by the cors proxy. The ones hardcoded in the code are not working anymore. I created a small proxy on node-red to solve this problem but ideally it should not be dependent on that.wim57 wrote: Sunday 30 August 2026 14:54 I have been using the dynamic dashboard for some weeks without problem but this morning I was not able to login to Domoticz from remote ip anymore. In this file there is the following section:

Re: Dynamic dashboard seems to cause repeating login
Thanks for the report, and to those who confirmed it. I found the cause and it is fixed in the next beta (build 18327 or later).
What was happening
The Google Calendar widget (and the RSS widget) could fall back to a public CORS proxy (corsproxy.io) to load the feed. That service now demands an API key and answers every request with HTTP 401. The Domoticz web interface treated any 401 as "your session has expired" and sent you back to the login page. Because the dashboard was your start page, it loaded the widget again straight after logging in, hence the loop. On top of that, the calendar widget had a bug that made it skip Domoticz's own server-side fetch and go to the public proxy even when the server could fetch the calendar fine.
The fix

The fix
- A 401 from any host other than your Domoticz server no longer logs you out.
- The public CORS proxies are gone. Feeds and calendars are now fetched by the Domoticz server itself, so your (private) calendar URL never leaves your network. This does mean the Domoticz server needs internet access to load them.
- The calendar widget's server-side fetch actually works now.
