Hello,
I tried updating Domoticz to 2025.2 today. Unfortunately, it went terribly wrong because I hadn't noticed this update was for Bookworm with OpenSSL 3.0, which I don't have.
Now Domoticz won't start anymore. Does anyone know if this can be fixed? My backup has an error in it and isn't working either.

The update script also made a FULL Domoticz backup, did that have an error? https://wiki.domoticz.com/Raspberry_Pi# ... ect_updateFredom wrote: Thursday 23 October 2025 19:18 Hello,

Re: HELP Domoticz stopt working after update
Hello,
I've tried your suggestion in several ways. Unfortunately, I only get error messages, which means it won't work. I made a backup from a few months ago, and that works for everything except ZigBee. None of my backups include ZigBee devices, which I don't understand. The backups I always make are of the entire SD card—an image, that is. I'm currently restoring all 21 ZigBee devices. Once this is done, I'm considering doing everything again with a clean install, not with Bookworm.

I didn't know that about those backups. I'm already restoring everything from a backup I made a few months ago (on a different SD card). I can still try your suggestion, and I definitely will. I've learned something new.
