Re: zwave stick no settings
Did you cleared your browser cache? Or tried in a private browser mode?
OpenZWave is removed from the current beta version and will also be removed from feature stable releases.
You should switch to zwave-js-ui with MQTT Auto discovery (docker compose)

Hi @gizmocuz
yes it works now but, what is the rationale behind removing the z wave plugin? this is easy as it is now. it works out of the box.

The Openzwave project that Domoticz uses is not maintained anymore: https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave
Domoticz running on Udoo X86 (on Ubuntu)

Could have remained for legacy stuff... Not so much rfx products coming as zigbee takes it all... Will this be removes someday?waltervl wrote: ↑Sunday 06 August 2023 11:29 The Openzwave project that Domoticz uses is not maintained anymore: https://github.com/OpenZWave/open-zwave

Re: zwave stick no settings
Rfx products have new software updates. I think that if zwave was changed for zwavejsui intergrated in domoticz the problem is less.lost wrote: ↑Sunday 06 August 2023 12:02Could have remained for legacy stuff... Re: zwave stick no settings
Due to not maintaining the OpenZwave anymore by the Openzwave team would also lead to Domoticz build issues...lost wrote: ↑Sunday 06 August 2023 12:02Could have remained for legacy stuff... Zwave-JS-UI also supports the newer Zwave controllers 700 and even 800 etc. But this has already been discussed numerous times.
If you want to stay on OpenZwave stay on Stable 2023.2 or make your own fork and build of Domoticz and keep OpenZwave embedded.

Re: zwave stick no settings
We're not talking about python here... I'm not really competent on C++ but for C, all K&R code snippets would still compile using current gcc with just the right flags.
That's right there is a replacement, but that's really labyrinthine & for critical home management stuff if you're not sure it will work without issues before start & sure at the end of the day you'll get a working system on current HW that's not really appealing!
