using 2 aeotec zwave sticks

Post by JuanUil »

Hi all,

I want to set up a stable system on a pi 3 and a testing system on a pi 4.
I have two Aeotec gen 5 sticks. Is it possible to have my devices in the stable system also connected to the stick on my testing system"?

Jan

Afaik, you can only pair devices to one controller.

You actually can have a "secondary controller" which could be the same device type.
Intel NUC with Ubuntu Server VM (Proxmox),mosquitto(docker),RFXtrx433E,zwavejsUI (docker),Zigbee2mqtt(docker),SMA Hub (docker),Harmony Hub plugin, Kodi plugin,Homebridge(docker)+Google Home,APC UPS,SMA Modbus,Mitsubishi MQTT, Broadlink,Dombus

It has to be registered by the primary controller like any other device. You cannot register a device at a secondary controller.
