Hi Heggink,
I've set my GH to Dutch, but I cannot figure out how to switch the scenes with controlicz. In English "turn keukenverlichting on" is working fine (English/Dutch mix), but "schakel keukenverlichting aan" and any variation is giving the respons "ik begrijp het niet" of "keukenverlichting is niet beschikbaar" .

What is the correct command to start a scene with controlicz in Dutch?

That sounds familiar unfortunately. I ended up renaming them because it looks like assistant struggles with names with verlichting in it. I had dressoirlampen as a group and I could not get it to work. It worked once I remember to dressoir. So now I have to say doe dressoir aan which is somewhat weird but it works...

Turn [scene] on (Schakel [scene] aan) doesn't work for me either in dutch. 'Do' however seem to work for me. So when I have a scene that has the name 'normal' (normaal), I can turn it on by saying ' Do normal on' in dutch (doe normaal aan). I have not tried turning them off, as I have no off commands for my scenes. I use them to define states of multiple devices.

Can you try the Dutch for 'activate'? Does that do anything?

I have now figured out that in Swedish it works with "Activate", in Swedish "Aktivera", for scenes. What is a bit strange is that I can use my two main scenes, that also contains Swedish characters, "Tändning" and "Släckning", but the scene "Morgon" constantly returs "I don't understand"

I have not been able to use the same command for individual devices though.

OK, an edit. I now have found out that GH seems to ignore the names i set in the GH app, but use the native names from Domoticz, hence I couldn't activate "Morgon", chamhed name in Domoticz, synched and now that works.

Individual devices no change, still doesn't work for me.

Hello,

I have had my first experiences with Controlicz and they are cool. Working great and fast.

But i have a a question I have Google Home in the Dutch language. When i want to open or close my curtains the only command what is working is "Gordijnen AAN of Gordijnen UIT" translation: curtains on, Curtains off.

Its not regonizing Open Or Close or Open en Dicht in Dutch.

Open/Close still not implemented by Google. i'm guessing it's because they want to tie it to door locks, and that will require additional work - any open will throw out to 2FA to ensure it's you asking :)

Unrelated - made an update to your profiles, so devices will show whether they are in a Room Plan or not. Thats should help with ensuring you're sending all the devices you want to send, and no more :)

i try to add controlicz but for some reason i can't get it to work.

The app tells me that the accounts are now linked but i do not see it in the list of my devices.
So i tried to send it to the device in this link:
https://assistant.google.com/services/a ... 8ba2?hl=nl

But my home mine replies: "sorry, i could not find that"

Yes, i subscribed to controlicz so i don't understand why it won't work.

hi - just make sure you put the devices you want to control into a Room Plan in Domoticz, then it should work.

I just did.
But i still don't see my devices under Home Control and when i say "hey google versterker status aan" it still wont work.
On the controlicz website i see that my devices are on a room plan

And when i try to send ti to the device with:
https://assistant.google.com/services/a ... 8ba2?hl=nl

the home mini still tells me "sorry, i couldn't find that"

i see you've got two accounts (with a slightly different spelling) - can you mail me from your Controlicz profile, and i'll take a look for you?

Ok,
The devices are finally added.

Now i’ve got several issues.

1. The names in dutch like “Versterker - status” is not recognized by GH.

2. I can change the source from my devices in domoticz but because it’s a switch, GH only recognize it as a power on/of switch so i can not change the source.

3. When i rename a device in domoticz (remove dashes, rename them to an english word so GH knows how to work with them, they are synced with controlicz but the new name does not appear in the GH app.

4. When i say “hey google... sync devices. I get an error
As you can see in the attachment.

5. Is a question... if i add another device to controlicz... do i realy have to unlink controlic and re add all the devices? That is a lot of work to do this over and over again.. especially if you rename devices and you have to re add all the devices iver and over again. You can not simply push the + sign to add a new controlic device...

1 + 3 - in Domoticz, under the device description, you can put Controlicz:insertfriendlynamehere and then Google can use that.
2: Currently Selector Switches aren't available - as soon as the ability to control them is available in Google, it will be available in Controlicz
4: you need to put "Sync my devices" (or Dutch equivalent) - you've put "Google sync devices"
5: see 4

Hope that helps

I do not understand 1 + 3.
What command should u give GH in that case? “Enable Controlicz tv” or something?

3. Ok. Sweet

4ok, it works now.
But what if you add another device to domoticz? Are you sure you can sync that aswell? Because you have to add a device and add that to a location.

Google & Alexa will inevitably have some protected words, i'm guessing Status is one of them. Rather than change your device names in Domoticz, i have provided the capability to add a 'friendly' name for Google/Alexa.
In Domoticz, in the device description you can add Controlicz: then the name you want to add:
I have a device called Front Room TV, but I know Google doesn't like that, and neither does my wife, so in the device description field i put:
Controlicz: Front Room telly

I then "sync my devices" in google, and I can control it with Front Room telly ("ok google, turn on the front room telly"). I could just add it to a Room in Google Home called Front Room, then use "ok google, turn on the telly in the front room"..

To add new devices to Controlicz, you will always need to:
Add it to a Room Plan
Make sure your Domoticz user has access to it (Edit Users>Set Devices)

Hope that clears up the confusion

I received my Lenovo smart display today. It updated to the latest firmware right away, so it has the same functions as the home app. When I try to select a temperature sensor or try to set the heat on my radiator valve on the Lenovo smart display through controlicz, the app on the Lenovo just crashes and restarts. Other functions work fine and I can read the sensors and set the heat from the home app on my phone.
I realize this is all new stuff and I don't know if the problem is with Google or controlicz. Just letting you know there is an issue

I just tested, lights (milight) do work on the Lenovo through controlicz. So it seems it's just the heating valve and temperature sensors that have the issue.
