Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
Other question. I have 2 gateways connectec with a VPN.
Recently i must add the second gateway to detect the new devices. it detects the gateway with mp3,volume,etc... and a termometer
But not detects the door sensor and inmersion sensor. I force the status of this devices (on/off, several times) but the domoticz not detect the sensors.
i use the port 9898 for the gateway and receive info of temperature, i thing this works but not detect the other sensor
Anyone have this problem??

@CLEMENT99, @lolomin, @DAVIZINHO
having read the logs, it is not yet clear in what cases this or that event is happening ... I ordered a pair of such devices to understand how they work

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
So I bought a second hand Xiaomi Gateway and installed it today. Everything working fine. Next up is to add a couple of humidity/temp/airpressure sensors around the house and see if I can get that working.

this is not a xiaomi problem, this is a domoticz problem - it initializes plugins too slowly, but gateways send information all the time ... this error is not a problem and has not yet come up with an elegant solution for this.

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
Hi !
I'm having problem adding a second gateway.
I have been using a single gateway with around 20 sensors for a couple of months and it works perfect.
I followed the guide in the Wiki for adding the second gateway but it doesn't show up.
I get this in the log after reboot: "NOT LISTENING TO UDP FOR HARDWARE ID" and ID is the same as my second gateway.
I tried pressing "Accept new hardware" under settings but that didn't help either.
The second gateway works fine in the Mi Home app.
Latest stable Domoticz version and latest firmware on gateway.
Any tips on how to troubleshoot this problem?
Regards

Hi all. I got a Vima Doorlock cylinder. Without the app its a great device on its own. According to the documentation I should be able to add it to my MI HOME app. But it is missing. On internet I read it disappeared with the latest update. Anyone can check if they can add the lock and sent me the region and version?

Pitty it only shows unlock actions and only with a key. I would like to know if the door is locked!
Is the lock supported by Domoticz?

Re: Xiaomi Smart Home Suite (very cheap) compatibilty?
I finally received my 6 Aqara TBH sensors. I want to place them in the bathroom, bedrooms and also one in my son's terarium. Regarding the rooms: what is a good position to get reliable temperature readings? I remember reading somewhere that a thermostat should be placed about 1.5 m from the floor for reliable temp readings. Anybody any advice on this?
