domoticz in synology as package! Available now.

Hi,

I just tried to do a manual install of 'domoticz_armada38x-6.2_4.0.9700-7.spk.tar' to my Synology DS216j but i get "invalid file format"
How do I resolve this?
I currently have 3.0.8153-7 installed

Remove .tar the file name should be only .spk domoticz_armada38x-6.2_4.0.9700-7.spk

Is is possible to make a new version of Domoticz for Synology Dsm version 5.2?
In the latest version there is a problem with sunset and sunrise time. It is now stuck on a fixed time and doesn't follow sunset and sunrise.
Because of that my Milight lamps switch on to late.

I hope you can make a new version of Domoticz for my old Synology DS410.

I am now running version 3.8837.

Sorry DS410 use arch-ppc853x and have to old gcc from synology to compile newer versions of domoticz.

version V3. 0 for DS410?
I think the problem will be solved then.

I understand that compiling a version 4 for DS410 is impossible for you.

please what is the last available Domoticz version for Synology DSM-5.2? At www.jadahl.com I found for my DS213 the last stable version Domoticz v3.0.5877-7 and the last beta domoticz_88f6282-5.2_3.0.8922-7.spk.
Is possible to compile some new version for this NAS (either by you, or by me - can you share the experience?) - or are some problems (uncompatible system) ?
Anyway thank you so much for all your work for Syno Domoticz community.

I have posted this answer in a lot of post here on the forum..
The toolchain and gcc from synology for arch-88f62xx is to old and is not compatible to build newer version of domoticz.

I have 4.0.10007-7 package without Python and i have feeling, that i have conflict with surveillance, Drive, git and download station.
Maybe this is problem with compatibility syno packages with new hardware. I don't know, but i know, when syno packages are disabled Unit works fine and when syno packages run without domoticz also.

I use 4.0.10007-7 on DS-712+ with latest DSM version and have none of this problem..
Maybe you have some conflict with webserver port?
Did you change default ports? http-8084 and https-8443.

Take backup of domoticz.db and try to reinstall domoticz package, maybe something went wrong under update DSM or latest domoticz..

Sorry there is no lua spk (package) for synology yet...
You can't use apt-get install commands on synology.

Still the same.
I think DS119J have better CPU, same RAM, but have limitations.
On DS115J everything works. maybe not fast but works. They want, to buy more expensive models.

so I do not need anymore LUA
I still have a question :In domoticz there is log ... that is logrotated ...
I would like to send the log of domoticz to the syslog of the Synology So It will be kept more long ...
