pjsgsy wrote: Monday 05 February 2018 19:41 I just received my gateway and sensors etc today. Install was pretty straightforward. Gateway added to domoticz OK. All sensors paired and showing up in domoticz. Getting live readings from them all. I can press a switch and see the 'Click' event in the log.

So, I tried to setup a simple doorbell. I based it on the example in the wiki. I have tried the exact code and variations. It runs when the door bell button is clicked, but it seems domoticz cannot talk to the gateway, or if it is, the gateway is not doing anything.

From the switches I try to turn on the rgb light or doorbel sound. Nothing. It does work fine from the Mi app though. I have enabled the local network and I have reset and regenerated the password in case I had some typo's (there was a O or 0, but there is not now), but still, I cannot get domoticz to make the gateway play any sounds or light up.

I assume I should be able to play the sounds by simply clicking the gateway doorbell on with the relevant sound? I've tried the blocky script which I used and it does run when the switch is clicked.

I set the volume to level 50
Doorbell to level 40
RG gateway on

But nothing. These 3 don;t seem to work. I DO see them switch on and off in the dashboard, so the domoticz switches seem to be getting set. The gateway however does not seem to carry out the actions. I have the latest firmware on the gateway too.

Version: Latest stable
Platform: Windows 10

Anyone set this up and got any tips? I see nothing in the logs that seems relevant. No errors etc.
I am reading with you. Today received my GW installed it according to the instruction on the wiki. Everything is working fine. Gw received two firmware updates, know i have version 1.4.1_151.0143. Trough the app everything is working fine.
Added the GW to domoticz, 5 hardware devices are added. Tried to use them, first i can click but no response.
Know when i use the lightswitch i get

you must write correct gw key in domoticz!
domoticz->setup->hardware->xiaomi gateway->password

this password you can get in mihome application

I tried searching the thread but could not find anything. What is the difference between the v2 an v3 of the gateway?

I also hope for this, I bought a lot of Xiaomi Aqara sensors, and they show up on my conbee software called Phoscon, but not in deConz and therefore not in Domoticz I think.

v3 has: Lux + IR-Transceiver + power meter (IR only working inside the mihome app, and powermeter is only for the ch plugs
because it has the option for putting in a extra power plug.

Aqara Air Conditioning Companion - CN PLUG ( 3-PIN ) WHITE
but v2 is a little bit cheaper. your choice. I recommend v2 for best bang for the bugs.

hello all, tried new xiaomi square switch
Double Click

Code: Select all

XiaomiGateway: New Xiaomi Smart Push Button Found (158d0001f9bd7c)
(GW) Light/Switch (Unknown)
(GW) Light/Switch (Xiaomi Smart Push Button)
works great but noticed that in domoticz is only Off, Click, Shake (double click is missing) in Mi Home log is Double Click normally logged

Same problem here, both of mine wired switches (single & double, zero line) don’t show up in Domoticz...

I guess they’ve changed some id number and they don’t get recognized automatically. I tried latest beta with no luck... please advise.

What distance does the gateway cover? And what is the best/cheapest way to extend the range? Multiple gateways?

Not yet! I have one as well. Tried to integrate it with https://github.com/rytilahti/python-miio but gave up after some time. Would be great to get it working.....

I prepared a Python Plugin for Xiaomi PM2.5. You can find it on https://github.com/febalci/DomoticzXiaomiPM2.5 . It makes a direct connection to the unit once you assign an IP to it. You can give a reserved DHCP address from the router so the unit will use a static IP. I've been using the plugin successfully for some time.

Hi Guys,
I have an alarm set on my Mi Home App that send notification to my smartphone and make the gateway ring when the door are open (xiaomi door device).
Can I import the alarm directly on domoticz or I need to program it with blocky?
And Can I attach a pin for set on/off the alarm?

Let me know thanks :)
